O'S Restaurant Parys

We were 26 people for Mother's Day, excellent food and service even when they had a busy day. They will see us again!
PS. Do not order the pork schnitzel except if you have fasted for a week, had to take away half of the portion, I will not be sharing it the next day!

Fantastic venue in a beautiful setting. Service was quick and friendly even though they were very busy. The food was fantastic and huge portions.very good value for money.

The only downside for us was the lack of sufficient parking. We had to park down the road around the corner and walk to the restaurant. Not the worst thing, but it's the only negative I can think of.

Was so surprised with the food at O's restaurant. Even though the restaurant was super busy, we did not wait that long for our food and the portions were big. They are pricey charging R 130 for a chicken salad, however I am used to getting n plate full of leaves and drips and drabs of chicken pieces with a few salad ingredients, but the chicken salad at O's was more than that. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful setting in the garden, really good food but prices are slightly on the expensive side. But would highly recommend their food and will be back. Just remember to make a booking as they can get busy.

Porsies enorm grotesk (slordige "plating") wat juis dan aptyt blus. Diens is soooo stadig. Uur en half v hoofgereg. Fillet en groente was koud en sous en uie as ekstra 15 min na die tyd op aanvraag eers gebring. Bediening v ekstra ys en bv nog 'n drankie neem ewigheid. Geen "condiments" op tafel.

Excellent location with several seating areas from the original home, all the way down to river front. Do verify your bill: I was overcharged by 25%.

The chef is clearly talented with preparation of red meats, veggies were far less impressive

Serene settings next to the Vaal River. Dishes were made with fresh produce, ample portions, and satisfying. You dò pay for what you get, no cheaper options on the menu.
Unfortunetly, attention should be paid to the little detail.the wine options are very limited, can't order a really good wine per glass. Condiments and extra sauces not offered, no coarse salt and peppers grinders on the table. Had to ask, and then wait too long.

My wife and I visited the O's last week saturday on recommendation of a friend, upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation whitch we had not, but the lady helping us said its not a problem there were many tables available where we could sit, we were seated inside on the stoep, as the called it, at a table where there were still empty classes of the previous customers, we were close to the waiters station, but after almost half hour my wife tap against the dirty glass with the fork to draw the waiters atention, someone came to our table to ask if he could help and said he will look for our waiter, we eventualy left and went to Jimmy Jaggers where upon we recieved exelent service
I would not recomend the O's unless you want to look at the river, I cannot comment on the food or drinks as we did not recieve any

Not really affordable in todays economy, but definitely worth a visit. A hidden gem. Portions are not too small, so even though its a little expensive you will get your money's worth.

Stunning little place. Good view of the river from some of the seating areas. Friendly service. OH MY.best pizza evvvverrr! Here you do not have to look for mushrooms or pineapple like at most other places.here it IS on your pizza.

Beautiful setting. Compared to other Parys restaurants the breakfast menu needs some attention though, and the cappucinos also very forgettable. Very average experience overall.

A restaurant that I recommend everyone visits! The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, along the Vaal river. We were lucky enough to book a table right on the water. The view is breathtaking, and the restaurant itself has a lovely garden. The food was absolutely delicious, and so beautifully presented. Service was impeccable, with very friendly and helpful staff. A lovely place to go, as a family, as a couple on a date, or even on your own. A little gem hidden in Parys!

Lovely setting & secure parking.
Good waiting staff. Light lunch of starters only. Lip-smacking depth of taste on the chicken livers and a huge Avo Ritz, loaded with shrimp. Ice cold beer - always a winner!

Definitely a place to impress someone. At the river. Beautiful view. Food was a little bit pricy but delicious and the portions were large enough to feed a farmer!
