011 Sandton Gin-Eatery

I attended a function there for starters we had shared platters and our table only recieved one of the 3 options. For mains, I had a steak I asked for medium it was overdone. Dessert was shared platters which only when I decided to leave we recieved it (2 hours after mains). Waiting staff were not good overall experience was bad.

Great cocktails, to die for juicy tender meats. The starters are ok, the carpaccio is divine. Ambience is great

Nice place to go with friends, or after office.
Wide drink menu, nice food (the quesadillas were excellent!). Music a bit loud, we couldn't hear us very well.
Caramel expresso martini on the pic - very nice!

Great place to watch F1 live races. Great vibe They have mid week lunch offers of a light meal and wine.

I am not a person to give bad/unrealistic reviews but this is necessary. Please read the below.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times and on all 3 occasions the waiters have nailed our bill with expensive drinks to try and boost the bill with more expensive orders.

For example: We order the first bottle of wine for R150 and then the second bottle is exact same but we are charged with the price of R350/R500 bottle when it’s evident that we sticking with the same bottle.

It is strategic by the waiters and extremely unprofessional and honestly criminal. Ofcourse when we mention the error, the staff change the bill but the fact that these chances are taken by the staff on numerous occasions tells me they are either stealing from the business or there is some management issues that must be addressed.

The food is fantastic. Add/take veggies as your side and you won't be disappointed.
The atmosphere is great and you can dine either inside or on either of the 2 outside areas.
The service is either a hit or miss; there's 1 waiter who could be friendlier but he's not but he could be but isn't.

Stood for a while at the door with no one available to help. Had to walk in and find a waiter myself so I can get a table. Took a while to get a menu. Drink looked unappetizing and tasted as such. Pasta tasted nice but undercooked. Music was so loud.wasn't sure if this was meant to be a club, or? An average experience I'm afraid.

Best burgers in Joburg. Other food generally good too. Good ambiance and vibes. Music was just a bit too loud for a Sunday but otherwise highly recommend.

Fast delicious food. I enjoy from the fish and chips salmon. Wine and dine is vibe even I’ll go before head to salon. Great service

The bouncers at this establishment are very handy especially towards women. Please be vigilant.

After arriving, my group decided not to enter the establishment however, my friend asked to use the bathroom and although she was admitted and able to use their facilities the moment she exited the bathroom Bouncers felt it was necessary to forcefully eject her. Two 6' men decided to grab and manhandle her out of the entrance to join our party who were waiting outside. My friend is a woman of colour and they were clearly under the impression she didn't belong. We did not feel comfortable with their actions or their attitude so would not recommend

Very viby, good gin selection, delicious food and very good service. Beautiful outside & inside seating. Music inside just a bit too loud, but that's probably because I'm old.

Lacks vegetarian options, otherwise good ambience and food. Very Similar to Dopio Zero in feel.

Such a vibey spot regardless of what day of the week it is. Cocktails are delish and food is of top quality.

Epic place to watch the f1 on Sundays!

Incredible food, wonderful selection of gins and brilliant service. Would definitely recommend. Going back for sure

The management and staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home in their nicely laid out restuarant and the food amd service was excellent!

The Madagascar pepper sauce is a must try with any dish!

Good Drinks selection and nice venue looking into a construction site for the moment but good potential. Parking is free.
