Food was authentic Thai. Requested Thai green curry and Thai tom ka gay soup. Absolutely delicious. Warm welcome to the place. There's a secure car park and, besides I walked, a police car at the beginning of the road. Felt safe and glad I came. These Thai dishes are complicated to do. And they excel on the flavours. My only glitch was the kitchen closing time at 9pm weekdays. Just as I arrived. But still managed to be served and. I thank you guys for.

I have a gluten allergy and the staff were so friendly and accommodating! The green curry was one of the best I’ve had! Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor! Will definitely be back!

Consistently fantastic food and great service. Not cheap, but not overpriced either and portion sizes are good.
The crispy chicken and the red duck curry are amazing, but there is something to suit just about everyone and you can choose the level of heat in your curries.
There are good vegetarian options as well.
The fireplace keeps the restaurant nice and cosy during winter months.

Currently down with the flu and I ordered the chicken coconut soup. Sad to say that this time it was terrible. Extremely salty. Even when I tried to have it with rice. I eventually had to throw the whole order into the trash.

We had whole red Roman fish with veg in coconut milk; and prawn green curry. Both dishes were exceptional.

Good Thai food but terribly inconsistent. Previous concerns not responded to by Management.

This was such a lovely place tucked away in the busy Corlett drive.entrance on the back street of Corlett.
Food was good portions and not bad pricing either. A great Asian ambiance. Will definitely visit it again

What a treat. Food and service were excellent. A must have every time we are in Joburg. We had the crispy chicken and stir fried duck with basil. Both were divine.

Probably one of the more legit Thai restaurants around. The Crispy duck was tasty and full of flavor. The green curry chicken was aromatic and fresh. Dessert was also pleasently different. For 2 people sharing a starter and dessert, each with 1 main course and 1 drink the bill was R550. Decor is a bit overkill for me but still a nice vibe. Would have been nice to see more Thai staff.

We were excited to try this place but the food was horrendous. Frozen vegetables in a very artificial sauce.

This place has always served delicious food with consistency. We have never had a bad dish here. Tried the crab curry for the first time which was delicious. Although the crab meat was not very dense, but the flavor was there. Phad Thai was superb as usual. Highly recommend this place for one of the best Thai restaurants in Johannesburg in my opinion.

If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Exceptional food and great service. The prawn and pineapple curry is to "Thai" for. Love this place and I could recommend this to anyone.

Ahhh where to start exactly. I have been looking for exclusive Thai cuisine and this one just could not be better.
The lovely dining place with with great hospitality and serene sitting lounge.
Did not wait too long for the food, and oh boy o boy the taste of the food was divine just like your sitting in Phuket having your delicious crab curry.
From hot soups to their tenderly made delicious crunchy spring rolls were perfectly made not oily at all. To the Johannesburg people if you have not tried their food, your simply missing it because its.
Simply finger licking good.

The service and ambience were really the stars of the show. The food was good though a little artificial tasting, especially with the additive of frozen carrots. Not too cheap either, though you cannot expect cheap anywhere in the vicinity of Sandton. We would go back, if only for the good service, accessibility and quiet.

Over many years whenever I'm in Johannesburg I always have a meal at 2 Thai 4 Restaurant. The food is always very good and the service is excellent. Lynne, Brian and all their staff always make me feel so welcome. Definitely one of my favourite Restaurants.
