Their food is horrible and the one thing that’s better (chicken strips and chips). But they always don’t have chicken strips

Absolutely fabulous staff, well trained chefs, exquisite decor. An amazing place to eat, meet and play.

Absolutely pathetic customer service. I ordered a pizza for my kids and 30 minutes later was told there was no cheese for the pizza? Ordered a chicken burger and found brush bristles in the burger from the basting brush. There was no coke and limited number of cool drinks available. The restaurant may look classy but the food and customer service is very poor!

We got our food after 1&½ hours, and it was cold. A large majority of the items were out of stock, so many had to reorder 2 or 3 times. Probably won’t come back.

Venue is great. Food takes so long to arrive. Had to wait nearly an hour for toasted sandwich and burger

Love the restaurant, just find music to loud to have a good conversation plus lack of vegetarian options.

New manager is very rude, and has anger management issues.

I'm super-impressed by this restaurant. Great ambience, friendly service, tasty meals every time. I mean look at this photo: one of the nicest fish and chips I've had, from a restaurant inside a complex!

Amazing Amazing Amazing! Definitely worth every single penny spent there. Don't hesitate to give them a try. You will not regret it. The food is gastronomical, I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Besides the incredible service, the food and the drinks will leave you wanting more and more. Drinks are incredible. Staff are super friendly and make you feel at home.

Hosted my wife's 30th birthday here.
The private room is very big and we were about 30.
The manager and staff were wonderful and so helpful.
Went far and beyond to make sure we had a GREAT event.

There is a variety of options to choose from the menu.
The food was amazing and it was reasonably affordable.
The place itself is exquisite and you will be well taken care of if you hosting an event here.

Most definitely will be hosting future events.

Went there one Sunday with the girls after church. Fell inlove with the food and vibe there. I love their Burgers and Wings. The Cocktails are to die for and very affordable prices.

Simple meal order goes hopelessly wrong. So, to my better judgement I tried ordering a steak at the diner in the complex we live in. Having being a patron of some of Rosebanks finest Gill houses I have come to expect my meat grilled to perfection - simple medium rare with basting and Peper crust ribeye, fillet, heck even sirloin. What was presented to me at this establishment was dreadful. They overcooked the steak to the point where it was between well done and burnt offerings. I called the duty manager since these owners much like the #GlazersOut are nowhere to be found. I received a heartfelt apology from the manager and 20min later I received a new still overcooked steak. It was then that I released that the owners don't invest in the staff sadly. If you leave a steak on the warmer shelve it will continue to cook on the plate. Some 20 min over continuous heating will render rare to medium to well done. Also I had to assist the water with opening a bottle of wine this after noticing that her win opener was inadequate and that she was using the screw to cut the foil instead of the foldout blade. She was greatful in me sharing my wine steward skills with her. Shout out to the guys at the Wanderers club all those years ago. The owners need to be more hands on and listen to the residents of 5ive. I now spend at frequent establishments in Greenside and Linden, won't go back to 5ive.sadly I will not tolerate bad management/leadership that fails their staff. Sadly, because now I have to use e-haling whereas I could simply walk home after a nite of over indulgence and having a good time with friends and family. I took my girls for lunch at local Restaurant in Northcliff the bill including a tip was over R700 that's just lunch, can you afford to ignore us as residents. Go figure.

I went there for drinks and ended up ordering their pizza.they're very generous with the pizza and are reasonably priced. Beautiful views as well.

This place is AMAZING! If you’re looking for a venue to host a birthday dinner/lunch or just a vibey restaurant in general, this is a go to! The GM is so nice and so helpful, the staff are so friendly. This events room is so nice and private with a beautiful space outside for photos. They recommended TwoforJoy Weddings & Events for decor and they delivered, alright!
The restaurant is in a complex with access control so it’s safe and the music is great. Their food & drinks are reasonably priced. Can’t rave enough about it, really!

We had my sister's birthday here & I really like the place, they have a function room which was perfect, as it also has an outside area as well so you have several options when it comes to pics. The food is reasonably priced & you get value for your money as the portions are big and food was also delish, loved loved loved it. The staff is friendly & helpful, they even helped us set up, willingly, so I would mos def go here again. One last thing to note is that the restaurant is inside a complex 'Apartments on Five' or something so you will need to contact them before hand to get access to the place.
