Ackermans Karinpark

I've attempted to return an item to Ackermans twice now, to no avail.

During my first attempt, the queue was extremely long. Although I understand that queues can sometimes be unavoidable, it would have been helpful if there were more staff members available to assist customers efficiently. I see other people have raised this issue in the past, but it seems like nothing has done to solve this.

I drove to Wonderpark Ackermans for a 2nd time to attempt to return the item. I went at 11am to try to avoid the afternoon queue. I got to the front of the queue, and the lady that helped me simply said "We don't have cash, you'll have to come back another time". She didn't even attempt to make a plan to help me. What poor service.

As things stand, I don't have the courage to visit Ackermans again.

The que is always ridiculously long because the staff at the tills being extremely slow. Even if I go there early midweek, it's always pathetic. I prefer and suggest wonderboom or pta north Ackermans.

I had a challenge with buying the wrong type of clothes for my 8 month old baby whom is still struggling to crawl. I had to go and exchange the items and get something comfortable for her to still be able to play and crael freely. The store manager "Cisky" was extremely helpful and I got more clothes that she could wear to creche for over a week for less than R550.well done team Ackermans

This shop doesn't even deserve one star, I had a horrible experience shopping there on the 30th of March afternoon where my phone was stolen inside your shop, when my husband asked to see a CCTV footage to see what happened staff member refused and said we should go to the police station, however I feel like if we were given access to CCTV footage earlier my phone would have found. Your shop is not safe at all, People who works at the mall confirmed that most people are losing their phones in your shop, and that raises a lot of suspicious.

The queue was unfortunately too long as they had Black Friday deals and I just had to leave. Besides that it's always a nice place to shop at.

Always check your receipt before leaving this store. A mix of customer service - some staff are not friendly at all and you find some who are exceptional.

Has great variety but not enough space so it's not always easy to find what you are looking for

Service here at this branch is poor. On the 25th alot of people are paid and obviously the store will be packed however, as long as the queue was there was only one cashier.

Very poor service On a Saturday 11: 21 ONLY 3 pay points out of 10 open. Long long ques and the shop is very hot no ventilation!

Great service, I ordered online and when I got there my package was ready for pick up, thank you to the lady that assisted me (Christina). Thank you.

I received an SMS to collect my new Ackermans card. I went in today between 13: 00 and 14: 00. A very friendly lady called on the intercom for someone, after which a man with long dreadlocks came from the personnel room.

After he copied my ID, he issued my new my card. After I signed the agreement, he gave me my card and said I HAVE to make an immediate purchase today. I said that I'd rather make a purchase at a more convenient time. It was very busy with a long que. He insisted that according to Ackermans policy, I have to make a purchase today. I then asked him to show me the policy that says that. He then changed his story saying that his manager told him that it was their policy.

When I asked him to call the manager to verify his claims, he then again changed his story and said that its okay and did not need to make a purchase today. He stared at me with so much anger and hatred while saying this.

I found it very unprofessional that the very first person I dealt with at Ackermans, lies and deceives me for unknown reason. My purchase would have only added to his already extremely busy co workers even more. This made me doubt if I'll ever use my new Ackermans account at all. Even though Markhams are more expensive I'd much rather shop there as all their staff has only showed professionalism to new customers.

You stand in a que for a very long time, the cashiers are very slow and show little interest to the the que moving a bit faster.

Well stocked shop. Very good selection of clothing for kids at reasonable prices. Friendly staff always willing to help. Good shopping experience except when you want to pay. You stand in a queue to pay. Always.
