Food is always tasty. Love the prawns.
They do a buffet on a Sunday. I am not a huge fan of buffets but their is always good. The food is hot. Turns quickly so you know it is fresh.

Absolutely by far the best quality seafood I have been served from a restaurant in a very long time! Went for lunch on Friday with some friends and was blown away by the cray fish, creay garlic mussles and king prawns. Also very well priced - I will definitely be back soon! Waiters and staff were super quick and friendly too

Food was fantastic! A beautiful creamy starter of calamari stuffed with prawns and feta started off a gastronomic evening.

Thuli is an attentive, sweet lovely waitress, and despite not being assigned to our table, she picked a few things which was brilliant.

Lost a point only because I bought two takeaways after our meal to give to family members and that wasn't as great.

Love this place. My favourite the “bitoque” steak egg and chips with a chilli creamy sauce. Also the prawn pasta, prawn curry and seafood rice a must! Very friendly and helpful staff. So worth a visit.

My hubby brought a take away home from his visit to this Adega. The quarter chicken and the veg accompaniment was delicious to say the least!

The food was good and presented very nicely and appetizing. Portions are good and we made space for desserts. All was delicious. The music was good. Decor great and I love the bunks. The service from the manager Jose and Brighton was exceptional. Jose is very friendly, good people skills and ensured all ran smoothly, yet controlled it discreetly. Great news for Adega Bedfordview fans like me - they just opened the new restaurant in Key West, after closing down the Park street place.

Lovely new concept with airy spaces and traditional Portuguese decor in a trendy environment. And they have a vibrant Adega Lounge, for drinks and a new petiscos menu (think tapas, small plates) which is great if you just want to snack or try several different dishes like trinchado or empanadas.

I love their private dining room and new rounded booths (tip - ask for the rounded booth, when you book) - important to book ahead of showing up.

Very fresh concept and energetic young waitrons with old tried and tested favourite menu items and some new creations. But they keep innovating, so I’m sure the menu will be upgraded again.

I was curious to have a sneak preview so got in for a quick late lunch. My favourites over a lingering meal is their amazing grilled chicken and delectable prawns.

I had the bitoque, and so glad I did - 150g tender, juicy rump in their fabulous secret sauce and crispy, thin cut round chips, topped with an egg. I recommend the rump and egg done medium. Full of flavour, and is a rich, satisfying meal with that buttery sauce.

The whole point of a meal is to get to dessert, right? I had the créme caramel (Pudim de ovos), which is nothing like the takeaway type from stores. This Portuguese egg pudding was simply sublime, and satisfied my sweet-tooth complimented by a lovely cappuccino.

Highly recommend Adega, and try this store for the new look and lounge.

The place lacks a bit of atmosphere but the food is really good and the staff very friendly. It also appears to be owner managed so that ensures that service is top notch. They also provide safe parking. You can see that it's important to them that patrons are safe and happy.

Adega Bedfordview serves the best tasting food. You definitely get value for your money. Staff are friendly and professional. The venue is also child friendly. If you are vegetarian, you are guaranteed a variety of delicious meals to choose from.

Great food, book in advance for December buffets! Great place to eat with your family for the festive season.

Food was great and Thoba looked after us very well. Live music was a bit too loud, so we sat outside so that we could hear one another talking without shouting.

I was surprised to find out that adega charges R10 per container if you want to take your leftovers home. Never heard of that before from anywhere else.

Lovely meal, the portions were good and it tasted delicious. Not terribly keen on the chocolate brownies for dessert though, was more like chocolate cake.
