25Black bar staff is very very rude, and service is absolutely pathetic with zero customer service, "doing you a favour" attitude.i left 3x messages for them to call me, they never called me, the broom had to book a room for me, pathetic, zero rating!
Beautiful place for just a quick drink and food or have a wedding. Also provide rooms. Beautiful food tasty food.
For more than 15 years a loyal guest, my last two stays were just horrible. I had a confirmed booking for the cottage. On arrival they told me, that the cottage is occupied. All I got was a shabby, dirty room with a "fantastic" view inti a backyard.
End of August I got the same room. It was again not clean. The carpers next to the bed were so filty, I would not stand barefoot on them!
The night Fr/Sa loud music and screaming until 2 o clock in the morning. The night Sa/Sun, the same again. The night Sun/Mon loud noise again.
After going out ofmy room to complain, they simply switched off the electric powe if my room.
So, the next morning I fled to another place.
This place is an absolute no-go!
I got the message.
NEVER AGAIN!
Basic accommodation. Some of the rooms are fairly small, but there are bigger ones. They are currently building executive rooms which should be quite nice when they are done.
Just make sure not to book the rooms near the generator, as it sounds like someone revving a Mack truck outside your bedroom window.
Food at the onsite restaurant was very nice.
The receptionist is rude. Seems like they don’t want the business. We checked in at around 5.30am because we worked through the night, we understood that we had to check out the same morning even though we only checked in the same day.we asked for a late check out, 11am instead of 10am to which the guy agreed. Upon checking out the lady insured that we pay R150 extra per room because we checked out at 11am even though the other guy said we could. Most horrible staff ever. On Monday night I was supposed to book a night for my wife and daughter, the lady receptionist was absolutely rude. We opted to walk out and drive to Hatfield instead where my wife had a comfortable stay at Anew hotel Hatfield and their normal check out time is 11am. It was stupid of me to go back, only chose it so we could get a few hours of sleep as it is close to where we are working. Anyway, please don’t go stay here unless you want terrible service.
I visited Bentleys for a quick planning session during which we enjoyed some refreshments. It is an ideal venue for weddings, training and chilling with friends
Went to Bentleys Restaurant as always the eat at the restaurant. Placed our order. After 45 min we was not yet served with our food. Went to the kitchen to find out was happened with our food. The Lady who was suppose to make the food Just said I did not started with your order. We were the only table to be served. Someone have to speak to the restaurant staff about the service they gave to customer.

There is a big pool but only for hotel guest s the place is beautiful and we where there for a wedding we had a wedding and I have never been more satisfied with a place
Poor service, rude manager, lack of cleanliness, no hot water in the mornings. No breakfast as stated. The staff not so professional. Anything u ask for just would not happen.
It's a beautiful place but the manager/owner is EXTREMELY RUDE with no regard for the elderly. I have never in my entire life experienced such disrespect. I will NEVER EVER book there AGAIN!
Private area, great music, quite, beautiful outdoor and indoor setting, I loved the fish pond outside.
Perfect location to refresh your mind, I enjoyed my stay there. Everything was professional and made easy for me from making the booking, to my arrival at the facility. The receptionist is very kind, humble and passionate with her job, she deserves all the credit. The views are aesthetic much and their breakfast meal, delicious.the only deal breaker is that they didn't offer, shampoos and shower gel in their bathrooms.
Worst service I've received in my entire experience of guesthouses. We made a booking over 2 months prior to the date, with specifications.
To our surprise, our requests were not met. To top off the disappointment, the room that we were allocated was dirty. The standard of the bed was shocking, for a lack of a better word. I'm still shocked even now. How does a successful business like Bentley's offer such sub-standard service.
We immediately cancelled our booking and we were told that the refund will be in our account within 24 hours. It's almost 48 hours now and we haven't received our money.
We are utterly disappointed and we will never visit Bentley's ever again in our lifetime.
The service was poor, the staff was so rude upon arrival till check out time n rooms were not ready by check in time, we had to wait for at least 30 minutes
The venue is excellent, however a bit of cleaning in the halls is needed. I wasn't impressed with the floors.
Need to invest on New Mattresses, Air Conditioners, Bath room condiments, introduce Five roses tea as standard tea
I went there for a sunday meal (buffet), the environment is nice and very relaxing and the food was also good but the sevice was poor
The chef was very rude. Did not stick to the stipulated guidelines as in the manuals of the lodge and was very rude when requested to. He closed the kitchen an hour earlier than the time
Would be very handy to post your opening and closing times over the Festive Season on your website. Being a lodge etc one assumes that its open. Closing is not a problem if your customers are told. This is almost 2019 and businesses should wake up that people actually use the internet
