49Queuing system is a total mess, took a whole 1hr + on the queue just to enter which cuts short your seating time in the restaurant. And this isn't for the first time it's happening
Quite disappointing due to terrible organisation. Long queue to get in with someone who clearly was in no rush to do anything. Then none of the food was labeled so you had to guess. With not much effort they could make the place a lot better.
The food looked good, looked appetizing but didn't taste as good as it looked but overall. My daughter loved being there. She enjoyed so much
The food was less comparing with number of people booked we couldn't find plates and the food was very cold. I didn't enjoy the buffet. We ate desert with forks coz they had never put them for customers. The ladies serving meat should stop asking people how many pieces coz we used one plate for the whole table since they had no plates so when I took 5 pieces she complained but our table had 8 guests so where wre they going to get their portion coz she said you can't take more
Worse experience ever, I booked buy stood in the queue for 1hour, u get to the food upstairs no knives and the food Is cold no assistance with drinks, I felt so lost and there no one to ask what's happenin.or please clarify if downstairs and upstairs prices differ
I have been asking for water for over an hour and no one wants to give us water. The waiter SIYANDA keeps telling us she's coming yet she keeps taking orders from other tables. What ever I order should be treated as anyone else order. If we won't be served then we should be told
Their service is top tier.we booked for 11am slot and got there around 1pm but they allowed us to push our reservation to 3pm.the food is amazing, their sushi is so tasty I'd go back for it honestly.
The atmosphere and the service is excellent.the waiter called Livingstone is doing an amazing job by the tables, paying attention to everyone, he deserves a recognition.
The food was okay.i enjoyed the desert the most, the cakes were fresh and nice plus malva pudding.
The service at the door is also beautiful.
Will be definitely coming back.
I don't think tonight was worth the money, I did not enjoy the food at all everyone was so excited to go and left there disappointed.

Had a blast at Billy G! Definitely going back. We were welcomed by the head chef, after a few hours later he came back to check up on us and asked if we still want some more food, he doesn't mind going to organize more food for us. The waiters and waitresses were really nice! I definitely recommend Billy G. Ohh and the food was amazing. We ate until we couldn't anymore.
Decent food, nothing really wow. For the price I expected more variety to be honest. The drinks are really expensive. So plan to spend a lot more on extras.
If you book a table for a large group, you have to pay to have a waitor. And they're really slow.
The standard has dropped so much, we don't even get to dish out for ourselves and pastas are put in so small bowls even the desserts, u guys must just up ur game or close down, I was very disappointed with the food and standard, no variety like 4yrs ago, it's really zero now
Guys forget about Billy g's it has fallen. Not only did we have a runny tummy. The food was not fresh, not nice and hardly much variety. Total disappointment from what this buffet used to be
The food looked all good and well, until an hour later when my stomach started feeling sore and I was back and fourth from the bathroom. When I got home I was in so much pain in my stomach, throughout the whole night. Went to the doctor the next morning only to find out that I have food poisoning. Thanks Billy G. Horrible experience.
The food was amazing but the annoying part is having to que just to dish your food I'd honestly recommend silverstar Billyg than monticasino just dish the food and people will just dish up for them selves now you giving us funeral vibes
This is a very generous 2 stars, we went there last night and it was such a waste. The food wasn't fresh, almost everything had a burnt taste to it. The staff weren't attentive, had to wave and wave to grab their attention while chatting to the other staff members. The first batch of "portions" were ice cold, the pork belly was so overcooked it tasted like water. The only editable thing was the spicy rice and lamb curry. The rest was a disaster.
If you want the Billy Gs experience rather go to the one in silverstar casino. They much better and more variety too. I would not recommend this one at all. They weren't even busy and the service was non existent.
I was so disappointed with how this business is being ran, i made bookings for 15: 00 and @ 15: 00 I still had to stand in a long queue till 15: 45 and when we finally got in, it was so crowded, we had to stand a long queue to get food with no covid measures in place. The waiter took their time, I really don't think i will go back here again. This is a potential covid spreader, I hope management find a better way to manage all this.
What annoyed me is that we all had to queue to pay for entry however the cashier allowed one woman to jump the queue before all waiting patrons. Limited variety of dishes even though it was good food. No social distancing while queuing for food and some guests didn't wear masks. Dessert was enjoyable and waiters were friendly and courteous.
Made a telephonic booking on the 1st of May 2021 for the 8th of May 2021. Upon arrival, my booking could not be found and my name did not show on the list of people who had booked. I was so upset because they wanted to allocate me an outside table which they generally allocate to people who don't have bookings. Pamela was not helpful at first as she appeared very sarcastic and had no respect nor did she feel sorry for the inconvenience. Billy G is a buffet restaurant that caters more for black people, it is very unfortunate but where there is more blacks, the service tends to be poor and this is the case with my recent experience. I will never visit this restaurant again, it is out of my league. There is however a great selection of food and the food is very tasty and worth the price. Drinks are very expensive, 1.5L of coke is R45.00 not sure of alcohol prices. But my advise, don't eat here, you wait very long to get in and you then join another long queue to the food station. This place is also not for the elderly judging by the long queue.
