Builders Express Lynnwood

I am always surprised when there is staff in a builders that offer assistance. At this shop I was surprised twice by staff approaching me to over assistance

Thank you too all the staff at Builders Express in Gift Acres. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Just like every other Builders. Staff are rude and incompetent, never willing to help or even answer a question. Would not recommend.

Bought a chamois with free car freshener inside.
I'm happy with builders express, it's smaller and closer to where I live now. And I can browse at Cash Converters and shop at Woollies. (Builders Warehouse is too far now)

I have been here three times where the wood cutting service was terrible. The one time I had to wait 45 min because the gentleman cutting was on lunch. Really?

Building and good obviously fabulous but service not so much.

Very poor service. Salesperson says what is on the floor is their stock. Retuning home website shows 20 instock. Went onto live chat. Still waiting for that response. Drove back to the store, where the next saleslady told me it is not really her job to check for this product on the computer. Shows 20 in the back of the warehouse. Wow! After a few minutes returns the wrong size. Again explaining my requirement, at long last the item arrives. Happiness! At the till the article has no bar code. Please wait. A printout quote is required. Now just let me pay and get out. On getting home, I get told - the product is correct -but we have been overcharged. Back again. Always keeping my cool. After a long explanation - I managed to keep what was purchased, getting the overcharged refund and all that for a 3 metre length of trunking for the cost of R40. Nobody is interested but I find this very disheartening.

Service is on point, they have a wide variety of products and the staff are quick to assist to make your shopping experience convenient

Friendly staff. Quick to help. Rather easy to find anything your looking for. They sell gardening supplies as well. Would definitely recommend.

Been here many a time as it is close to my house and convenient. I have however never received friendly or enthusiastic service from the staff and today was the last straw. I quickly stopped there after work, 5 minutes before closing time (5pm), but just wanted to quickly run in and grab some stuff. The security lady saw me appproaching and closed the door right in my face without even saying a word. Obviously they are doing very well financially in this tough time, so I suggest rather go and support a different store that is struggling.

The Builders ID card available instore is a must - invoices are emailed to you and product exchange identification is a pleasure

They had a special on their empty potplant holders but asked me full price. And when i wanted the money back they asked me if i was certain that it was on special? It was standing right where they could see it was still on special

Convenient, but there is no service in this shop. Staff not very keen to assist. Most of the time when you ask if they have something you're looking for, they will just say no, sometimes you even find it afterwards if you keep looking.

Builders isn't known for their service but this builders Express has the wors customer service and not very helpful staff. I only gi there when I have no other options and it on my way home.

The website is tedious and difficult to navigate.
I call the store and an automaton answers and tells me to hold on.
I hold on for a long time and nobody answers.
UNACCEPTABLE business practice on both counts!

Great for when you are pressed for time and need one of the popular lines held by the express store. Staff friendly and helpful.

This shop offers good service! However, Builders at Woodlands is a totally disappointment. Unfriendly personnel! We returned a faulty Gardenia garden sprayer. First the consultant did not want to help us. Then he doesn't want to exchange the faulty piece.

Really too small, so it carries very limited range. And then they often run out of stock. I have been disappointed more than once. Just now went to buy 40 litres of paint in a specific colour and checked on the internet for availability first before I drove there. "Sorry Sir. The system is wrong. " Once again. Think I should really just go to another, further located branch, in future.

I honestly don't know why I still bother with this store, they never have the items I'm looking for and I inevitably end up riding the few km extra to Chamberlains anyway. The staff seem to disappear as soon as you try to find them and when you ask for an item, the general response is just a shrug of the shoulders.

Tebogo working for Plascon in the paint section is so friendly and knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure dealing with him.

The service is of a very poor quality.
On Monday 23 Dec we left the shop after 15 minutes of waiting to be served in the garden area. I get the idea that the staff ignore the customers rather than assisting them.
