After the changes looks good but some of the staff not very friendly and always need to look for someone to assist.

Builder's Hardware opens at 8am on Sundays. I popped in for some building material and was served quickly and efficiently. Thank you.

I got what I needed. But customer service in the paint section is poor. Staff just stood in the corner and chatted. Customers had to approach the staff there for help.

They have done a great job with the new renovation and restyling. Still a great selection of paints and screws and lights and decor stuff. The coffee shop at the entrance is nice also and some days you even get popcorn as you enter! Kids love BW when there is popcorn

Never order from their online department. They are extremely inefficient & extremely unreliable. I have ordered 3 times and on their website it says they have stock, but when you go there they say they don’t have stock. Worse, they don’t even call you to let you know. Will never buy from them again. “Get to builders and get it NOT done. ”!

If I could give negative stars I would. Unbelievable service or lack there of. "Maybe try pick n pay" took the cake. So if I couldn't find plumbing supplies at builders warehouse, pick n pay is supposed to have it.
Utterly disorganized warehouse with extremely rude and inattentive staff. Labels don't correspond with stock. Messy and in general the worst place one could go to for supplies in my opinion. Definitely NOT recommending this place to anyone.

Absolutely k@k service by this branch. Get to the key cutting station at 17h40 and the lady who does they key cutting has gone home. Lekke. 20min early. I took off work early to get it done. Other staff are uninformed and unhelpful. Why do they work their if they don't know anything aboit hardware and how to assist you. Terrible terrible terrible Builders! Rather go to Chamberlains.

The salesperson at the paint counter does not know builders range. He went out of his way to tell me a certain range is discontinued whilst it is available at other branches.

It's usually busy from mid morning till early afternoon but the staff is generally very helpful when busy staff availability to assist is generally reduced but once your turn comes it gets all smooth.

Service is often terrible.

Shop attendants don't know anything about hardware and often don't even know where to find things in the store. Asking for assistance is futile.
Stock of tools and materials is often pathetically limited, and many small items are atrociously overpriced compared to Chamberlain and others.

Builders Warehouse is an incompetent abuse of patrons.

They are doing a complete reshuffle of the shop so be prepared to be totally lost if you are a regular, BUT, it it starting to look very neat and as they say, a change is as good as a holiday. So looking forward to going for holidays at BW

The staff is way too busy for customers. I ended up driving to the north to get rugs because they were all having little caucus on the floor and were not interested in helping.

No service plus staff has a no care attitude. We were over charged and had to go back with a large item to get it corrected. Arrogant staff.

Very negative. I went there to find out the price on Chromadeck Roof Sheets. They don't stock it. Change the name to Builders Empty House

Do not dare to forget that you took out your bankcard to pay for a tollgate. You will be in trouble for just quickly fetching it in the car! Staff was so rude, left my stuff and went to Chamberlain's

I was here to get some protective gear.
The store layout, and product placement was a little bit odd for me. There was plenty of signage but I still struggled to get to the right section.

When I asked one lady seating at a counter on her phone with earphones, for direction, she didn’t seem kin to help. But I found my way.

When I got there some on the items didn’t have prices, which just annoyed me.

The reason I’m giving them four stars is because of the cashiers. They were just beyond pleasant, and had a huge smile. I noticed they were courteous to even the older folks in the line. They were just a pleasure.

Receipt printer ran out of paper. When that was replaced, cachier didn't print all that was supposed to be printed, that I however was only made aware of at security checkpoint. From there it was back and forth and back and fort. I felt like I was a criminal. After 20 minutes or so a supervisor let me out.still without the correct slip. Their procedural shortcoming and poor cashier and security officer training wasted time and really upset me.if possible I won't buy there again

This weekend was probably the 10th time we visited this branch and even though they are always stocked up, the service is beyond terrible. Every time we get there, we struggle with assistance, products not being priced, staff on their phones, and when someone does take the time to assist you, they are clueless. Seriously won't spend my money here anymore. Do yourself a favour and go to Chamberlains in Silver Lakes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
BTW: The division manager at the gardening section latterly told his attendee that he doesn't have the time to assist us or answer our question, so well done Builder on your excellent service delivery!
