Cafe 41 Groenkloof reviews
19The savory muffin was so good. The staff is really friendly and the smell of coffee in the Cafe helped with the great atmosphere
Lovely setting and atmosphere. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Pricing very reasonable. Parking and facilities for the disabled. Have a great range of cocktails as well.
Best food ever, best traditional.food but their service is not satisfactory. Worse they give you bad service yet they add tip to your bill even thou they don't deserve it
Very friendly, safe and helpful staff (thanks to Ben 10 in particular).
Their Bar One milkshake is amazing, thick, but not too thick and their French Toast was delicious (though the bacon could have been crispier, but that's a personal preference).
Exciting relaxing atmosphere brilliant food and drinks it can be described as a 5 star cuisine! One of the best restaurants where I've ever been!
Great food and service
Vusi was a great server.
Wide range of choices on menu and reasonable prices
Great service and it's such a pleasant place to be with all the staff being so friendly and I was extremely satisfied with their food.
The best place for brunch. I was impressed by the strict compliance with covid-19 regulation compliance. Quality of service a friendly staff team are what to expect
What an amazing place! Have been a patron for 25 years. Iive in Cape Town now, but still go there whenever I am in Pretoria.
Very clean, table sanitized before seating outside. Efficient friendly service.pricey but large portions, tasty and well presented. Overall a good experience.we felt safe
Relaxed atmosphere and situated on a very busy corner with vehicle exhaust fumes in your face. If you don't mind that, you can try to visit and make sure you ask to sit inside the restaurant.
The inside is dated and in need of some cleanup.the staff is friendly but some uniforms should be replaced.please.
6 out of 10
Unfriendly waiter who was impatient and didn't have basic etiquette. The Belgian chocolate cake slice is very average (even thought it looks divine). It doesn't taste like Belgian chocolate at all. Hot chocolate is VERY hot. Tea is fine. Atmosphere is good with ample seating before lunchtime.
Great portion sizes, delicious meals and a comfortable atmosphere.slightly on the pricy side, but worth the visit.
Toilets are not manned. Spotted something I wasn't supposed to spot. Otherwise it's a great venue. Please don't go to the toilet before eating. You may meet unwelcomed and unsavoury scenes.
Café 41 Groenkloof is one of our favourite spots in Pretoria. The food is always delicious and good value for money and the service is very good! A big thank you to the management and staff (specifically Daniel), who kept my credit card safe when I lost it at the restaurant on 17 January!
Great meeting place conveniently situated close to hiways, gym, shops, hospital, and campus. Great food and coffee. Some of the most friendly staff you will find anywhere.
Working lunch and breakfast staple. Good service, great breakfasts. The potato croquettes are superb (cannot go wrong with potato, right). Some basics, for example, quiches are not always good quality and/or value for money.
When I went back after a month the waiter (Patrick) remembered me and me previous order. Asked me if I would be having the same. It was a very good experience! And the food is generally great as well!
Although the vegan options are limited at Cafe 41, what they do have is very, very good. Try the white bean stew or the chickpea and sweet potato curry. Avoid the artichoke salad - raw onion overpowers the taste of the finely chopped artichokes, not worth having. The atmosphere is vibey and the service is excellent.
