Just overall bad experience. Food was average. Had an issue ordering a drink that was supposed to be made creamy and not with ice (told the waiter if they can't make it creamy, to not make it then) they made it anyway with ice which I sent back. Had to explain to 3 people why it was sent back (clearly no communication between staff). The manager (Megan) wasn't friendly and had an attitude. When paying she insisted on taking my phone to enter the entertainer app code which in any other restaurant we enter the code ourselves as I don't like people having to touch my phone (Clearly germs and Covid isn't a thing there).
Just the manager's manner of speaking to us and handling everything from the drink to payment was enough to never go back.

I had the hake and chips last night and it was really good. I had the fish fried and the dough on the fish was so crispy. Really nice:)

Perfect place near our office for a tranquil lunch break with hubby. My husband still insist that they make the best prego rolls in the city! I rather enjoy their end of meal never disappointing Don Pedro!

First time to visit the cafe and our Waiter Lungelo was super friendly and very welcoming we didn't even plan to be dinner but because of his warm welcome we decided to stay for drinks and food. Compliments to the chef I had bacon, chicken and mushroom pasta and my friend had portogues steak both our meals 10/10. And Lungelo's service definitely a 10/10-minus nothing will definitely be coming back

Lunch there everyday now. Good value for money at least now i get my vegies which they do so well. Lovely staff.

Service was good, food was disappointing. Eggs were over done despite requesting soft eggs, avo was over ripe, toast was burnt. Could have done better considering the place was really quiet.

One of my favorite spots in Randburg, good quality food and the prices are good. Service is good.

Breakfast was very average-while the eggs were cooked to perfection, Hollandaise sauce (not out of jar) was very lacking-salmon (? Maybe) non existent for the price and bun was soggy. Service was good, however, but that may have been because restaurant was stuck away and basically empty. Some decor was dusty. Covid protocols were observed.

The Marinela pasta is thee BEST pasta I've ever eaten! & the staff are really friendly & accommodating

Besides the excellent food, Patience was magnificent in serving the restaurant almost single handedly, can not applaud her enough, thank you again for a wonderful afternoon and see you in the next few weeks

This place is so Beautiful. The food is to die for. Service is Awesome. If you in the area its a must.

I go there mainly for drinks. Great vibe and affordable drinks. Half price on cocktails Monday to Thursday

Super friendly waiters, cocktails are great! They even have a happy hour (5-6, Monday to Thurs)

I love this place but sadly after nearly 2 years of going there I had a bad experience. I was greeted by a moody waitress that just wanted to express that they shut at 6 but this was at 5pm. All she did was make us feel unwelcome and rush our meal. I'm so sad, if this continues then I will have to find another place to spend at least 3 nights a week for a meal/drink: - (Duarte, please contact me. Tx

After reading the great reviews I was disappointed by my visit. Yes, I only had a milkshake and cake, but there was only one cake on offer - a vanilla and chocolate combination - and it was stale. Nice decor tho.
(And I appreciate the owner, Duarte, contacting me after I posted this review to apologise. Good to know the owners care)

As always the food and service was outstanding. I had the chicken in sherry with steamed vegetables. Highly recommend it. Our waiter was attentive, and contributed to a very enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be back.

My family loves going to this restaurant with any excuse we can get! We love trying new dishes each time we eat there and have never been disappointed by a dish. The food is fantastic and the staff is always very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!

The staff is amazingly friendly and efficient, food is always great no matter what you get on the menu and is decently priced for the portions you get and I highly recommend going and enjoying their food
