Absolutely Devine breakfast, the waitress was attentive, the owner/chef came out to greet us. A must try is the French toast with bacon and honey, I requested some crushed chilli on the side, but its just my preference. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the Margherita pizza, milkshake, Italian kisses. The owner/manager has an awesome smile and humility about him. The restaurant is a house with an incredible ambiance

Best prawn pasta i have ever had and dessert was delicious. Unfortunately my boyfriends pizza was a bit chewy but everything else made up for it.
Service was also fantastic! Definitely coming back.

Very nice atmosphere and still able to social distance. The menu is comprehensive with fish, seafood, steaks, pasta, pizzas. I enjoyed lamb meatballs with pasta. I was expecting the dish to be rich but it was light, not fatty at all. I would recommend the dish. The service was good. I'd definitely visit again.

Great food that's very filling and I love the dim lighting, it creates a more cozy vibe. Was a little cold though since winter is approaching.

The Croissant with bacon eggs and sausage.
Tasted great although the top the Croissant was a tad over crispy.
Waiting staff is friendly and prompt.
Coffee is good and strong without being too bitter. Really nice coffee.

If I could give it ten stars, I would. Highly recommended especially for an intimate dinner. Aesthetically pleasing and each dish we had (Alfredo and Pizza) was absolutely delicious even their wine. Definitely coming back to try every dish on the menu.

My son raved about the pizza and it's now a favorite spot for pizza for me as well. Pizza crust thin and tasty, ingredients fresh with lots of delicious toppings to choose from. We sat outside in smoking scection as outside seating was limited. Sitting outside was preferable to enjoy sundowners under a beautifully accented boginvillia veranda. Well priced menu for all tastes in the Family?

Such a hidden gem! I absolutely love coming here. The food is incredibly good and the service and warm atmosphere is next level. Highly recommended for both breakfast and lunch.

Their pizzas are amazing, and the Polpetta that I had last time was superb. Great house wines, by the glass, what more could a person ask. That they're in walking distance is a bonus, highly recommended.

Our core reasons for eating here is that our dogs are accommodated and it is much more quiet than Parktown. However, the food quality is what will keep us coming back. Wells done!

Picobella is the local go-to spot in Melville. Situated on 4th Avenue, it benefits from being just far enough from the main drag to go incognito in Melville, if such a thing is even possible.

The welcome is always warm, smiles abound, nothing is too much trouble, the food is consistently good, beautifully presented and relatively affordable. Vegetarians are well catered for, there's a good wine list although the good stuff costs (as it does everywhere) and the non drinkers generally have a choice of fresh juices.

Breakfast is served all day, which is an all too rare thing to find these days. The choices range from simple (eggs florentine) to fantastic (eggs & lamb meatballs in a ragu). They also offer the very American thing of bottomless coffee if you're working from there for a few hours - which you can do on weekdays in the lull between service times.

The pizza is legendary and makes the must-try lists almost every year but the real gems are the platters. They come in vegetarian and meat options and are loaded with fresh vegetables, dips, breads, cheeses, olives and a selection of good quality cold meats. Pair one of these with a bottle of South African bubbly, settle back and enjoy the sun going down while people watching and you've got an early evening made.

Highly recommended and dearly missed when I'm away.

I have now been back to this lovely little restaurant three times and I have tried a different meal each time from pizza, to fish, to chicken and all have been amazing! One of my favourite places to return to. Great friendly service, and wonderful food. Thank you so much!

Beautiful atmosphere because of the manager but the food is not great.

There meals lack flavour; the pastas require you to flavour them yourself and the pizza base is almost thin but hard.

They aren't doing great at this Italian food thing.
