Cafe Plus

Ordered the poached eggs with hollandaise. Probably worst I've had ever. Hollandaise tasted like mayo, egg texture was off and overdone. My partner ordered chicken skewers with a salad and his chicken tasted like egg. We suspect that the same pan used to fry eggs was used to make chicken without washing inbetween.

Friendly staff and efficient service - we occasionally have breakfast and lunch here and never regret such.

Love Cafe Plus! One awesome place for a meal or alone time or meetings. Carrot cake is out of this world, all their food is fresh and tasty.

Great little cafe, that serves the best steak sandwich on the eastrand. Fast forward three years and they still serve the best steak sandwich in Joburg. Treat yourself to a sugar free freezo. The chocolate freezo is deliciously decadent. Cafe Plus is an ideal spot to catch up on work while enjoying a meal. The waitresses are friendly and efficient.

Their food is amazing and one of the few places that serve a very good coconut crush like drink ps. I LOVE coconut?

For service, I'd give them a 5 star. The food is not bad. I had a chicken burger which I found very salty - which, coming from me is hectic as I love salt. Also noticed they allow people to vape inside the restaurant which is not only illegal but unpleasant. Has a very noisy atmosphere so if you're after a quiet cuppa - this is not the place.

Great coffee and breakfast spot. I asked for more anchovy on my anchovy toast and was obliged. I had a coffee discussion with the owner and left with small packet of coffee beans. A fantastic friendly place.

It's simple, good place for a meeting if you are in the East Rand and it won't hurt your pocket.

Such an easy atmosphere. Love the jalapeño and cheese burger. The French toast with bacon is a miss but never been disappointed by anything else. Service really depends on who you get. The one guy is always friendly and attentive but some of the ladies not so much. Coffee is tasty!

Complete disregard for the smoking laws, manager standing talking to customers smoking within 3m of a no smoking sign.

We recently had lunch at Cafe Plus, a spot that has been going since about 2015. Simple, modern decor with seating inside and outside at the Green Valley Center.

The owner Andreas has been in the food industry for as long as we can remember and we've had the pleasure of eating at most of his eateries including this one. They have a limited menu with a variety of cakes on offer which catches your eye as you enter.

I decided on a Beef Burger with Cheese and Jalapeno. My mom had the Prego fillet Steak roll, and my sis had the Salmon breakfast called "The Poach"

Everything was delicious, tasty and full of flavour. The Chips were HUGE and perfectly fried and spiced. My homemade beef patty was amazing, and the relish with Jalapeno and Cheese was the perfect combination along with some Prego sauce. My sisters Salmon and Poached eggs were good too and a really great portion size. Mom loved her steak roll and couldn't help praising them for the good quality if food presented.
