Service was awesome. Very attentive. Enjoyed lunch. Food was great. Play area was a nice distraction for the kids. Would def visit again.

Really had a good time at Calisto's. We had a family lunch (9 people). The service was extremely friendly, Primrose was our waitress and she was very helpful and very friendly. The food was very good and tasteful, they serve quality meals. They have a nice play area for kids where they have a lady watching to make sure they are safe, she seems to be very good with children and get them to connect with each other a bit to play together. Definitely a highly recommend restaurant.

Good food, good service, lots of space. Waiters did very well in serving us. We were such a large group, and yet we felt individually cared for. Well done!

- prawns with veg (their veggies are creamy but still healthy)
- chocolate biscuit cake
- thicc juicy oysters

Always a pleasure going there, waitresses, waiters are top class, food is value for money and of course taste is outstanding.

Awesome place with great ambiance. Food was excellent and not at all pricey. Has a big variety of food and drinks.even cocktails. Has a big section for kids to play. Also a smoking section and just loved the fireplace.also had gas heaters all over as it was raining and a bit cold the time I visited. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back soon and will definitely recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely love it here. Undoubtedly thee best spot in the south. Well according to my opinion. The food is absolutely spectacular and very well presented. The atmosphere is equally as lovely and the staff treat everyone like royalty. (Personal shoutout - Ask for Faith)

The food is always fantastic. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the manager is always hands on and will to accommodate.
Best Calistos around. Hands down

It's still the same I commend them for keeping up the service I have known them since 2014 although I don't live in the south anymore but I was very happy

Also when we set in the lounge the barman was very helpful, tasted the cheeky pomegranate tonic with the Gin and it was soooo yummy! Thanxxx Barman!

Another hidden gem in the South, the fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Ideal for little ones as there is a play area with an alert child minder (I loved how this lady interacted with the kiddies). I would have love to see the waiters standing at door also assist with doors whether entering or exiting (yes, it's push doors) but it's just courteous and covid times. This is my second experience of having to push the door open myself with a squad of waiters watching even with a take away pack and the first time this happend I was heavily heavily pregnant in 2018, still the same? !

One of the very first Calistos in town and such a high standard. Food was excellent. Chicken had just the right amount of heat and sauce.

Calamari was fried to perfection and the seafood platter was really well prepated.

Definitely worth a family outing.

The private bar lounge is my favorite, as you can do a lot of work during the day. Covid-19 has made it almost impossible to work at office or home for that matter. But the Calisto's bar lounge is perfect for all your business admin, calls and video meetings.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing! It is very comfy and homely. The staff are all very friendly. The food is on another level, personally I've been to two other calisto's restaurants and neither of those come close to the quality and taste that you get at this one. I definitely cannot wait to go back!
