48No one ever gets back to me. I have tried phoning… I go through the whole experience until I am number 1 but no one ever answers. Still waiting. Have paid for platinum service?
The worst experience! The links on the website don't work. They take forever to answer their emails, or don't at all. It is almost pointless calling as you wait for ages! We paid the extra R700 for platinum service but what a waste of money.

Capago has mastered the act of not refunding applicants should you overpay! Should you pay on your appointment day at Capago, you would be charged an extra administrative fee and if you pay before your appointment via electronic transfer, there’s high tendency you would overpay of which Capago would confirm with you n promise you a refund but they won’t refund nor respond to emails.
Dorothy was professional, friendly and capable. Application process went smoothly and we were out the (well appointed) offices within an hour. Thank you.
Receptionist was not the friendliest and didn't give the most detailed info regarding the taking of photos, which occurs at a photo booth at the entrance that you insert tokens into (the receptionist gives you the tokens). The photo booth was a bit confusing, but the helpful security guard stepped in to assist several of us with using it. Agent Craelin assisted me - I thank my lucky stars! He was really friendly, so efficient and provided many explanations about how the process works and what to expect. He is such a pleasant person! The best part of the process was my interactions with Craelin. From start to finish, my process took under an hour but others seemed to have waited longer. Biometrics on site. CAPAGO will send your passport/ visa to a Postnet closest to you. Card machines on site. Lots of parking spots. I recommend doing photos through CAPAGO because most of the time, photos taken else where are not compliant with Schengen requirements.

Capago made swift contact in order to assist in rectifying the initial issue I had. Robin has been very helpful in trying to get the visa sorted and clarifying the change in process.
UPDATE: I did receive a refund for the Premium service — which they offered and I hadn't asked for. The company contacted me saying there had been miscommunication with my application. Management was very professional and apologetic in the aftermath.
ORIGINAL: Do not bother with the Premium service if you're moderately literate and have previously applied for a visa to any other country. The staff were significantly less knowledgeable about the visa I was applying to than I was. I had to share links from the France website that listed the visa requirements because they were confused about what I needed to provide. On the day I dropped off my passport, documents were still missing from my file that I had sent in well in advance. Luckily, I had a copy of everything required and provided it to them to add to my application. My visa was thankfully approved and I will say the consulate was very quick and efficient once my documents were received.

I would like to commend Nokwanda Tshandu at Capago for her exceptional customer service with our Schengen Visa applications. Nokwanda was extremely helpful and made a process that can be very daunting, very easy! Wish we had more customer-orientated folks like Nokwanda in all our sectors!
