Nice cocktails. Food is well priced, Could have presented it much better. The Samosas was burnt , Sausages were oily. The chicken wings were dry. Vibe is good. Decor is nice. Chairs are comfy.

I ordered takeaways and the person helping me was as stoned as can be. I asked him more than 4 times to explain one of the dishes to me. This was a very unpleasant experience!

Food took too long to be cooked, over an hour to be precise. The food was dry and not tasty at all. The drinks were enjoyable though. The waiter was great under the circumstances.

Horrible service I waited 2 hours for my food, they ran out of skewers so the waiter decided 2 choose something else 4 me. And to top it all of the plates were filthy sies sies

Don't waste your time. Food took 2 hours, waiter had an attitude, then when the food finally came it was old and dry. Music was so loud you could not have a conversation. A glass broke and no one came to clean it up, just left there in the middle of the floor. This place is like a dirty tavern.

Highly disappointed. The service was horrid. The food even worse. The only positives were the drinks. Literally took almost two hours to get our food, just to receive the food cold and tasteless. Chunky tomato slices, cold and dense burger pattie and meatballs. Dry and stale burger buns, cold and hard pasta and a spacey, all over the place server. Such an awful experience. They seriously need to re-train their waiting staff and chefs.

Our waiter was awesome, even though the food wasn't that great, the service was ok. Could be be better, if the other staff members can have positive attitude nd love what they do.

It's a very nice place but I must say the food is horrible and it's not the first time.its the 3rd time I go there and all 3 time the food has been horrible no matter what u order.they can't even make simple ribs and chips or chicken and chips.you really need to change ur chefs cause they clearly don't know what they are doing

Worst service I've ever received, we weren't allowed to sit where we had initially wanted to sit and instead gave the table to other customers. The waiter was unprofessional and wasn't very attentive, he took more than 45mins just to bring each order and we did not enjoy the experience at all

Cappello in Vanderbijlpark are located inside Emerald Casino Resort. If you do not know the area it is a bit tricky to find it. You have to enter the security gates at Emerald Casino Resort, find parking in front of the entrance to the entertainment area. As you walk in you will see the huge entrance of Cappello restaurant on your left hand. The entrance is impressive, hygiene is good, the person that welcomed us were very friendly and helpful. I could not see a bathroom and the waiter also did not mention where the bathroom is. Cappello in Vanderbijlpark have a Jaz atmosphere a high roof with beautiful lights. There are four different areas to sit, outside with a overview of the entertainment area, inside next to the beautiful bar, the lounge area (that could be great for a group of people) and also a smaller and darker area. The food was delicious and up to standard but the drinks and cocktails were better. They ran out of chips, but made up for it buy replacing the chips with creamy spinach that was delicious. The waiters and staff was friendly and helpful. Cappello open at 10: 00 so next time I will go for a branch.

The Capello based in Vanderbijlpark Emerald service is so poor, we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. When we finished eating we waited almost an hour for the waiter to give us the bill, no one even cleaned our table after eating. We sat there with empty glasses and plates full of bones! Worst service ever.

One waiter Karabo was assisting all tables. Capello should consider hiring more staff or be prepared to lose customers. I don't see myself coming here ever again.

Awesome experience, Spa the waiter showed real patience with the children, the manager Kido, came and checked up on the service… would definitely recommend…

I found the service a bit unprofessional, plates are held by hand and not using a try, tables were sticky I used my own wet wiped to wipe down. Waiting for the food took too long and our waitress kept disappearing on us.

Our cocktails were great and my pizza was lovely, unfortunately the couldn't get a cheese focaccia and greek side salad order correct for my wife. First the have the foccaccia to someone else, then they brought a plaon house salad and then a herb foccaccia.

Food was good but we waited long, and they gave my foccaccia with mozzarella and chilli to another table! When the foccaccia arrived 90 minutes later, after my partner had his food, it was the wrong order and I asked them to cancel the order. Was a big disappointment as it was a Saturday night date. Went to Pizza Boss also at Emerald afterwards, and received a delicious pizza in 10 minutes time. Having said that, the lady that took over from our initial waiter at Capello's was lovely although the order was a disaster.

Considering it was an easter weekend, the experience was absolutely ridiculous. Poor service is an understatement. Incorrect orders on all food, food arrived cold. Under staffed and no atmosphere whatsoever. 5 tables got up and left. Not well managed at all. Will most certainly not be going back and will not recommend

Had lunch at Cappello Emerald Casino.
The prices I found to be 'over the top' for food that was mediocre.nothing to rave about We were a group of 8 of which 3 were children. The restaurant at that time was NOWHERE near full although it was a public holiday and there appeared to be only 2 waiters who had to see to all the customers. The drinks ordered were served fairly quickly
After our food order was placed it took 1 hour for the food to arrive.
The waiter seemed ok and apologized when I complained but that's where it stopped.
I called for the manager.a black lady who gave me fullscap book to write my comments on. (which I did together with my contact details) and assured me it'll reach the owners. To date I haven't had any response.
The next time we visit Emerald resort we will opt to eat elsewhere.

I was there on the long weekend the restaurant wasn't busy but service was terrible food came after an hour and our meals came 20 minutes apart from our family, the manager was running around and screaming for menus once two other tables got full she was carrying tables and knocking over chairs the food wasn't great as well and when it got to us it was cold, would not go back

They dnt even deserve tht 1 star a gave them, worst clubs and the waiterI'm even shocked about my experience yoh
