Cherry Melon

We bought two expensive dresses. Both shrank. Bad client service. Place like woolworths put client first and refund immediately plus apologises for inconvenience. Not Cherrymellon. First has to send to Capetown for assessment. Ran into another pregnant lady who also said ''stay away from Cherrymellon the quality is not good''. We are waiting now to see if they really put their clients first with the refund process

Bought a button up “mandarin” dress for 799.00, washed it before use and ALL the buttons fell off. Lost 4 buttons in total and the belt completely disintegrated. Very poorly put together, bad stitch work, over priced

I have made several online orders and in-store purchases with Cherry Melon and have generally been very happy with the products. Unfortunately in my most recent order, one of the items doesn't fit me and for the first time I need to return part of an order. The return method online is confusing, and when I tried calling over the phone for clarification I was instruced to email "Kim" who knows more details about returns. Unfortunately dealing with Kim was difficult, she apparently didn't even read my email (did not answer my questions) and simply gave a short, borderline rude reply implying that I may have worn the jeans I intend to return. If this is the customer care for a repeat customer they won't be able to keep repeat customers.

Great service and an excellent selection. The staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn't find meternity clothes anywhere else and highly recommend Cherry Melon.

Seeing a most chain stores don't carry maternity wear any longer, Cherry Melon filled the gap in the market with super comfortable easy to mix and match maternity and nursing clothes.

They have an online presence and delivery fee, but I prefer going into the shop to try on new items or styles. I have 3 pairs or trousers, multiple tops and undies.

Soft and comfy for work and letting your belly grow.

Note: things get a little softer as they are well worn - I wore my work work trousers 3 or 4 days a week and am planning to keep wear them until my C-section incision is properly healed and preggie belly has gone down. The point here is, don't buy a bigger size, item are meant to stretch, you will not grow into it.

9/10 would recommend. 10/10 will be returning for more nursing gear.

The staff were so helpful and knew a lot about sizing and the types of clothes in the shop.
Shop is clean and neatly organized, was easy to find what I needed.

Went there with my mother. I wouldn't say it was the warmest place to be. The people are not rude but they not Customer friendly. Not welcoming at all. It's a good thing they are just maternity only. I wouldn't recommend it if you had other options.

I love this brand of maternity wear. I think it’s worth the investment. You want to be comfortable during your pregnancy and every item of clothing from cherry melon did that got me. It was the only maternity clothing I had that was soft on my skin and didn’t make me itch, I loved my tank tops, shorts and jeans and now I can’t wait to see how all the feeding tops work.

I didn’t have to change my size of clothing and can see myself using the items postpartum. I kept going back due to the high level of comfort I experienced with the clothing especially on warmer days and nights.

In December I picked up lovely items on sale I. Store in beautiful tones of peach and pink.

There are cheaper maternity wear out there but I dnt think it lives up to quality and levels of comfort and I washed my cherry melon often and each time I wore something it felt like the first time. Trust me my bump was very happy not to be scratched due to itchy materials or non breathable.

Also your bump grows into the clothes comfortably at each stage. So you can do a maternity wardrobe with few items and mix and match your body will always fit in the clothes.

Staff member was a delight to deal and made my wife feel good about herself whilst trying on outfits. 100 points in my book just for that, would have walked out with the whole store if we could.

Love cherry melon. Have the best maternity clothes and such helpful and friendly ladies working there. If you pregnant and need good quality at a good price with staff that make you feel at ease as a soon to be mommy you can def go there!
