I am deeply disappointed and concerned about the lack of communication and attention given to my mother's diminishing health during her stay in
Lesedi private hospital . It has been almost three to four weeks since she was admitted, and not once have we received any updates or been approached by a doctor regarding her condition.

The primary concern for any patient, especially one who has been in the hospital for an extended period, should be their health and well-being. However, it seems like the medical staff at this hospital have failed miserably in fulfilling this basic requirement.

Communication is an essential aspect of patient care, as it allows family members to understand the progress of their loved one's treatment and to provide support when needed. Unfortunately, we have been left completely in the dark, unsure of what is happening with my mother's health.

As concerned family members, we are left with endless questions and anxiety.

I received amazing service from Dr Ntlemo. The nurses in the Maternity ward were very sympathetic and very professional. Super helpful and attended to all my needs.

Thank you so much for the service I received from the staff, they made my stay very pleasant, my unbearable pains became bearable. Special thank you to Sister Nomfundo

Horrible service been here since 18: 30, it's now 23: 50 and we are still sitting on the bench with my son. This place is far worse than Bara yet one pays so much money

Terrible service they constantly have to be reminded of their obligation to you they will only help when you threatened to leave, best be tough with staff so they will take you seriously

I am very upset by treatment we received at emergency which had 2 Drs working. We waited 3 hours my son finally attended by a rude, unprofessional male Dr Phemelo. He was very dismissive and interested.he wanted that we finish my consultion with nurse in the corridor. Cos he needed the room.
Service sucks and that PRACTICE slogan all over the walls is pointless. I was better off going across the street at BARA.

I am very dissapointed with their service is like we in a Government clinic I got here around 4 but I was helped around 6pm, their service is very poor. When I got to my ward I was told there is no food I had to eat dry bread. So lesedi hospital is the worst

Most useless clinic ever they turn away people in need of help who are referred to them for workman's compensation. They are unethical and only interested in people with medical aid

Service here is terrible always. Their system is a big let down consistently, only private by name, the service black people receive is disgusting, if this "private" hospital was not in the hood this would not be happening but for some reason we're expected to endure nonsense because of our geographical location.

Good reception when your at the reception/administration/ block O. However, once you get admitted secrets are revealed and you just have to trust God and pray all goes well and family support system is needed. Before going make sure you have a lawyer.

My girlfriend got admitted on Thursday the casualty Dr she's okay she's checks on her patient regularly. Once you are admitted that's when you feel like these no difference from bara. My girlfriend was told she'll be going to theater in the morning no specific time, when you call the theater she's not on the list. When you call the reception requesting to speak to the Dr they say no Dr's on weekends. The clinix really need to get their system in order

I had an amazing experience. The staff at reception was effective into getting me into the ward as i was in a lot of pain. Dr Cebekulu was indeed amazing as a 1st time mother she provided the best medical care.the theater staff for my dilivery on Jacob's team the scrub nurse was reassuring as my husband could not be allowed? I inside due to covid. The maternity staff took great care of me and the baby at ward 7.i would highly recommend this hospital.

This hospital is THE WORST it is DISGUSTING! Half the sanitisers are empty. The doctors don't explain anything. I took my toddler there and the first Dr that examined her said she should go for an xray, when we got back from getting an xray we sat in the examination room for more than an hour only for a completely different Dr, who never even introduced himself, to tell us that the xray is fine and the nurse will give us a script. No explanations on the medication. It's so sad that just because this hospital is in Soweto, the service has to be bad. Rather go to Bara or drive to the suburbs.

This has by far been the worst experience ever and am never setting food here. I was admitted on Monday the 13th of January and I unfortunately got a miscarriage of a pregnancy I did not of. Mr Molebatsi who was my doctor was extremely nice and the staff nurses at ward 7 were also very nice except for a few. After two days of being discharged, I experienced horrible abdominal pains and went to a dr who referred me back to Sk. I experience the worst form of mistreatment from a doctor by name Kieka and a particular nurses at casualty followed suit. This same doctor had previously badly treated my sister not long ago. I kept praying to not be treated by him, but I was just unfortunate. I am utterly disappointed at the way, some professionals in this private hospital treat black people. I am sitting here in pain and am afraid to inform the nurses because am afraid of what I might get. *they’re a team after all*
I don’t think I’ll ever set foot here and I wouldn’t recommend this private hospital to anyone.

The worst experience at the casually of Lesedi Dr Matseke Memorial hospital. My mum went in for a knee replacement on the 14th December and was discharged on the 20th December. She had terrible pains and had to go back on the 27th December this is when our terrible experience started. The admin part was quick then she was kept in a room awaiting medical attention which took 3 hours before she was attended to. At this stage she was hungry and I had to give her something to eat while waiting the nurse tells me with attitude that I should go and wait in the waiting area. I informed that I can't as I am waiting to feed my mum with a chronic illness. I insisted to feed her, from that moment onwards the nurse just looked at me with so much attitude. If looks could kill I would be dead. All one asks for is proper service at an institution which is supposed to be a private hospital but all we received is poor and what I call black service. For how long must one suffer and say nothing about bad service. I am fully aware that I am not the first person to complain about Lesedi and definitely not the last. As to why I even bothered, well I felt my voice should be heard. It looks like the management of Lesedi sees nothing wrong with the staff behaviour as nothing is done about this hospital that has been like this for years. Thanks to my mum as she insists on going to Lesedi I'm finding myself go through this trauma. To the management team kindly note that revamping building means nothing if the patient experience continues to deteriorate. You have to be the change you want to see.

The place has been revamped, it is truly a private hospital indeed, security when you enter te gate you must produce some firm of identity even when you are inside the service you get its value for money.
