Shout out the maternity ward staff they'll make sure that you and your little one are comfortable and they're very helpful. The staff in general is very friendly and welcoming, from house keeping ladies to the lady that serves up food. I'll definitely be coming back to this hospital again.

I had to admit my mother today. Staff were friendly, professional, went out of there way to make my mother comfortable. Lynette at reception was so professional, friendly explained the process. She get 10/10. Such an asset to Cormed.

I have no complaints. Certain other pvt hosp close to then feels more like a government hosp when walking into their ER department. This hosp actually cares about their patients.

Drs rooms I have gotten no answer once and when i went there to make an appointment all receptionists were on duty so I figure its a landline issue. Drs tgere overall are always my go-to should i need them over Drs elsewhere.

If I wasn't sick this would have been an amazing experience, but even with my health dwindling the experience was impeccable. Staff service was beyond amazing! Even the cleaners. The kitchen staff everyone was really warm and kind.

Such wonderfull service both at the front desk and emergency unit. I had to go on short notice on a sunday morning, and all the staff, nurses and doctors where so helpfull and well mannered. Thank you Cormed for excellent service!

The service was absolutely phenomenal. From the cleaning staff to the Dr's. My mom was in that hospital after having an operation and what an amazing experience she had. They looked after my mom so well and I wouldn't have asked for better. I will definitely recommend Cormed to anyone. Because they actually Care. Thank you Cormed and ALL the staff for making moms stay a one to remember.

Well as I go to CORMED casualties very often, with my children as well as myself.

So this morning I called in to hear who is duty they said Dr. Lategan which I was grateful for (I love Dr Lategan and his daughter Dr. M Lategan). When I arrived at casualties it was Dr. Koegner (something like that) she hardly examend me. I got upset then she quickly changed her diagnosis with me, then they could put drips on ect.

I will not go to CORMED casualties if I call and hear Dr, Groblaar is on Duty. He sent my 1 year old son home (fever 41.3) with suppositories last year it cost me to go in Emfuleni thank God there was a great doc on duty, which of he tested positive for swine flu.

Sorry Dr. Groblaar and Koegner is a NOOOO go for me

I would highly recommend this hospital for any operation or any other reason the staff nurses doctors everyone is so polite and helpful and patient with you. They make you feel like you are at home. Thank you so much for everything you did for me amd my family

Came out of theatre around 10: 30am and was served a snack consisting of crisp dry unedible sanwiches with dried out cheese. Shocking for a hospital that use to be 1 of the best in the area. I really hope the shareholders take note of the non conformance related to catering services!

You wait +-1 hour and 30 minutes AFTER your scheduled appointment time to be assisted. It is very unprofessional and unacceptable.

I had 2 amazing experiences in the maternity ward at cormed where both my daughters were delivered by Dr Verwey. The nurses etc there are outstanding. However, I cannot recommend the casualties department, they just do not take instance’s seriously. I have had 2 experiences now where the Drs at casualties simply do not take situations seriously or do proper examinations etc. Yesterday I ended up paying double. Once at Cormed casualties (where my daughter was barely examined and was told she would be fine) and then again at Emfuleni Mediclinic where extensive testing and examinations were done, specialists were called out, and finally appropriate care was given. I truly believed in Cormed but I will never visit their casualties department again. Money wasted and serious trauma could have been prevented if appropriate care was given the first time around.

The best hospital I've been to. Staff are friendly an efficient. Wards are clean and well organized.

Not at all impressed with the Drs or reception ladies.
Never answer their phones and have to ask them for results.
They will never let you tweet what your results are.

Drs don't check your history.

Receptionist at hospital did not inform me that there will be extra charges over and above after hours and weekend consultations for emergencies. The doctors are good but admin people need to improve communication skills and let patients know what they will be in for. All my medical aid funds are depleted and now they say I still owe?

Dr. Roos was supposed to phone me back, she phoned me back TWO days later only AFTER I called continuously two days in a row asking why she hasn't gotten back to me. I was sick and waiting for my prescription, but nobody seemed to care. Eventually she called me back and still charged me R280 for a less than 5 minute call.so unprofessional and unfair.

My wife had a c-section at Cormed with DR Verwey.
As first time parents, we were terrified.
The service from both DR Verwey and the nurses in the maternity ward was absolutely exceptional!
I would recommend this hospital to anyone who asks.
The nurses were extremely helpful and supportive, they went above and beyond to assist us, answer all our silly questions and had all the information ready to go. They not once got ugly or irritable with us.

All our home affairs documents were filled in and sent in by the hospital (Jan 22 2021 Covid times)

They called more than once to follow up with all the documents and birth certificate.

Do yourself a favour and give it a try!

The Doctors and Staff on duty here are amazing! They are so welcoming and friendly! They keep their emergency center very clean and sanitized, disinfecting after every patient. I felt like more than just a patient. The day after I left, I received multiple calls from the staff, asking if my medication was working and if I was overall feeling better. I will always go back to Cormed for this amazing service!
