Del Forno Honeydew - The Ridge Shopping Centre

Not sure why I initially rated this place 2 stars, perhaps I had a bad experience 4 years ago. If so, the place has improved since then. The food is good, worth 4 stars. I usually get takeaways, pizza and pasta. The pizzas are made well in a wood fire oven, and the pastas are tasty and generous portions. They also deliver in the area, and have not gotten my order wrong, so no complaints on that part

Are you still accepting orders from the app Order number 435444 placed at 17: 00 no delivery. No answer in phone. Nevermind I just read the past reviews. The food may or may not arrive.

Really great food mixed with excellent service, great spot for meetings also.

Bongani is very friendly and attentive always asking for feedback on meals.

We love sitting under the trees. No matter what you choose to eat, the food is always great and the service too.

Overall a good experience. Enjoyed the Mediterraneo breakfast, which was more good than expected. Service was good

I ordered a pizza and a chicken burger and chips which was Absolutely disgusting, the burger had absolutely no flavour and the chips where cooked in weeks old oil with a fishy taste, honestly had to throw it away because I thought my dogs would die if they ate it, absolute waste of money

Terrible service. But I don't blame the waiter he's the only one here running around. I blame management.

Food is good but don't do a delivery. We order regularly and food takes an hour to an hour and a half. For the price and the delivery free it's not worth the wait.

Waited over an hour for my order. And was advised it's better to order in if it's Friday night.
Seemed as if they prioritized online orders and Uber orders.
Pizza was awesome though

We loved our evening at Del Forno's Honeydew. Service from people that actually care about giving good service is rare today. I am happy to say the service was better than good, and we loved the food. We will definitely be coming back and we recommend that you do too.

One of my favourite places to go to. Such amazing food always. Staff is so friendly and lovely and we love Mpho so much. She always had great recommendations and is so friendly and kind. Thank you! Keep up the good work (Berry island ice tea is so good! - a perfect recommendation Mpho!)

They provide quick and efficient service for a sit-down/take-away restaurant, I only had one concern regarding their COVID measures, at first there was no sanitizer but this was brought to the table after:)

Please don’t waste your time with this terrible service. This is possible the worst experience of a delivery service we have had. Ordered at 7pm. Called twice to confirm. It is now 9pm and still no delivery. When we call we are told they are they are busy. The pizza now arrived more than two hours late and the pizza is ice cold. Pathetic.

I ordered the creamy strips of sirloin pasta.the steak was so tough that I trew the whole dish away. It is very disappointing as it seems the quality of the food has gone down dramatically.

Love Wednesday date nights. Such value for money - We always ask for Bongani. Best waitor ever!

I always have an issue when ordering from them, well especially via uber eats, as in either the delivery is late, the food upsets my stomach, or the order is wrong, or you wait for over an hour and then they cancel your delivery and completely inconvenience you, there are many other Italian restaurants in the area that cares for customer service and satisfaction. If you don't have any hassles then I suppose their food is good

Great food. Service was a bit lacking due to time of year and lockdown. But otherwise well worth it

Lavatories are outside of the restaurant which could be dangerous is the only downside.
