Doppio Zero Sunninghill (Chilli Lane)

Love this branch! Food is amazing, service is great! I think I only had one negative experience with them when I ordered on uber eats where the food did not taste so nice but every other time, it was great.

Always the perfect vegetarian meals with so many vegetarian options that are all so delicious

Terrible terrible service. Waited for over an hour for a relatively empty night! The food itself was blend at best. A 5 year old could make better food! The waiter/ manager does not communicate the why there is a delay, does not check if we need anything further. Absolute nonsense. I’m rating this a one star cos I simply can’t give it a negative. What a way to ruin what was supposed to be a lovely night.

I ordered the BBQ burger for take away and when I got home I found the beef patty was raw inside. I was so disappointed because I was hungry. I had to wait for the power to come back so that I can re-fire the burger. The fries were nice though, good portion.

Met with a client over a delicious juice, the staff left us alone as they respected the business paper work.

Battered fish and veg amazing. Moroccan chicken can do with a bit of flavour.pasta not their best.servide from Precious, cheerful and goes the extra mile, we will return.

Cocktails and were underwhelming. It doesn’t compare to other doppios. Rather go to the one in bedfordview or the one in mall of Africa.

The Mint Tea is always a great drink dor the detoxers. Loved the omlette, as usual. My top choice for a Saturday morning

Very pleasant breakfast experience. Meals are reasonably priced and service suitably attentive.

Breakfasts are great here, just dint try ordering a burger with chips for bfast, you wait forever and then get undercooked chips. I understand you need to heat the oil up but then dont offer it as an option.

Called this branch because a colleague missplaced his wallet here. Was put in hold for over 20mins before the call was cut with no answer. What type of response is that?

The place is tucked away at the back of the parking area. No scenic views here. Food is good. It's a good place for a coffee. A place where you might eat out with the family.

We eat here almost weekly, friendly staff, great tasting food that is prepared fresh and, no long waits between drinks and meals. Always a good visit to this restaurant.

Yet AGAIN after already talking to them about this before I have had a bad experience with this doppio.

First I ordered breakfast. I put order notes on the item and in the general notes saying that I am gluten and dairy intolerant, and added gluten free bread. I somehow received an order covered in cheese.

The next day I ordered a pizza
When you order takeaway you pay a surcharge for vegan cheese which you don't pay in store. They didn't have a large gluten free base so offered to make me a medium and give me a dessert which I can't eat before eventually making a plan with a banting base. The pizza arrived ice cold AND they missed the order note adding chicken.

Sure, they offer to refund. But that's not the point, after waiting at least an hour for your food you expect to at least be able to eat it

I really don't think it is that hard to follow order notes. Doppio has my favourite pizza - it's just that the Sunninghill branch doesn't seem to be able to manage to read order notes or cater for dietary requirements.

A lovely spot in Sunninghill for lunch or catching up. Service is promt, the coffees are strong and cakes are large.

My sister and I got pasta's and both lacked salt so it was very bland. But other than that the place looks nice, we'll go back because they have so much more on the menu to try out.

Waited to long for our food and the service was pathetic! Don't need this with guest's from Denmark and Belgium!

Early dinner @doppiozerosa sunninghill

We had a drive outside our area and found this lovely restaurant. There are a few around (in fact our first date together was at a Doppio Zero). This one had some incredible decor - including flamingo wallpaper in the bathroom

We ordered their most-ordered pizza, which was yum, and our waiter Bongani was so so friendly. The pizza itself took a really long time to come, especially for a quiet restaurant
But overall it was a cute mini-date and we’re glad we went.

Our local Doppios. Always get amazing service and fresh food here. Love to order a couple of the fresh plates on the menu for a healthy meal just like I would cook at home.
