23It's good for an evening meal, the food is ok and the service good. It was noisy and I was cold. I've been on a few occasions and the standards are consistent.

Absolutely terrible service received on Saturday, 8 August. Our waiteress was condescending and rude. Before we wanted to leave she was no where to be found. We asked other waiters to call her for us and were blantly ignored. Eventually after a half an hour of waiting to get the bill we informed her that we had somewhere else to be and it took about another half an hour for her to bring the bill. The place is sticky and gross. No covid precautions were followed.
Very nice place, friendly staff. I didn't eat so can't rate the food, overall it was a nice experience.
Great staff especially justice and manager Johan they always make sure that we had a good evening keep up the good work guys
We went to the Dros Krugersdorp for a few drinks on Sunday, the service was really bad, though it wasn't full at all. Waiters prefer to stand in the corner, talking to each other, completely ignoring the guests. Our waiter Justice charged us a wrong amount when we paid with a card. We paid our bill with extra 10% tip on top, the amount was said to the waiter loud and clear, however he added extra R50 when we swiped our card, and we only saw it at home.
The food I tried is below standards. Can't say anything about steaks, but calamari was tough and rubbery, quesadillas had no spring onions, however the menu states otherwise, and nachos was horrible as well.
Thank you, but no thank you. Rather take money somewhere else
The Manager Joanne he harassed my fiance yesterday when he was going to collect the order of Uber Eats. Joanne was not wearing his musk and he came closer to my fiance no social distance he mad. He even took pictures of of my fiance registration plate and disc without his permission if my my fiance get hijacked or his car get stolen he will be the first suspect to us.
These 5 stars are for Ricky (the manager) and Halima (our waitress) for exceptional service and the chef for the quality of our food. I love seafood, but don't like to order "in-land", as I am usually disappointed. But boy-oh-boy, was I amazed by the taste and texture of the calamari and prawns! It is the best seafood I have eaten in a long time! My husband's Espetada was also most delicious. Thank you for Ricky and Halima for attending to our special requests.
Dros itself, great service and a bonus with the excellent staff, including everyone.

This is the second bakkies to be stolen at dros krugersdorp both my brothers bakkies the first time we complained and tonight is the second bakkie of my family no effort was made they only worry about money dros krugersdorp is absolutely pathetic
Good vibes with friendly staff. Food is your general dos quality. Large menu to choose from. Alot of parking which is great when it is busy.
I went here expecting a nice night out and I received the total opposite, my waiter (vuyisile) I only remember her name because she left a card with it on the table started the night of by yelling at the other waiters and arguing that we we're her customers, when she eventually got time to seat us she was rude and unprofessional, the food took over a hour to get to the table, it was served without cutlery and our waitress kept disappearing, drinks we ordered only came after multiple times of asking for them and when we wanted our bill we we're held up by another 30 minutes, don't go here the food is very bad, they don't have an idea of how to treat their guests and the managements best response to you will be sorry for the inconvenience, stay away, I beg you, service here is terrible

Edit 5/05/02021: After my previous review, the owner contacted me almost immediately and invited us back to the restaurant. A month later, we visited again and Leandri went over-and-above our expectations. She reacted on everything that I mentioned and rectified it. When we visited again, she made us feel so so special and I got to be part of the Dros that I know and love! It was the perfect experience and the best restaurant experience I have ever had! Thank you so much to Leandri and her team for all their brilliant work, service, food, everything was absolutely phenomenal! Thank you so much, will definitely been back soon!

I’ve been here a few times before writing a review and here’s what I think: The food is generally always good so only compliments to the chefs. In general, service is friendly and decent even when it is busy. It seems though, that the standard has gone down considerably since I last visited a month or two ago. The service was still friendly, but incredibly slow and it felt like my waiter was in a rush to get done with our table when he did make time to check on us. I felt as though we were not being seen as, as important as the customers outside (busy section). The drinks came quick but we waited 25 minutes for an ashtray, and after I got impatient and wanted to fetch my own one my waiter came rushing to the table. At one point there was no waiters/bartenders/managers to be seen in the bar area where we were sitting. Also, the standard they had for the COVID regulations in place has gone considerably down - the sanitizer at the door doesn’t even have a working nozzle. Today both my partner and I got ill, presumably from the calamari as that was the only thing we shared.
In short, it used to be great but now it’s not worth the visit.
Loved it! Service was amazing! Our waiter Clement was great. He was very friendly and helped us with a smile! Will definitely come back again.
The most devine food.my husband is a big dude.he ordered an Eisbein, and he could not finish it.it was made exactly the way he asked. Service is fantastic. All our future date nights will be at this restaurant.
Very little parking available. We did not even make it into the restaurant, we opted to go somewhere else bacuse parking was an issue.
Just went to grab a takeaway 'brunch' at around 11: 45.walked out just before 14: 00 by the time we got home the hunger was long gone.but anyways the food wasn't too bad
