Eastgate Shopping

There's a variety of shops and restaurants to choose from, I haven't even explored some of it yet since it's quite a big mall. I'll do so soon though.

After posting my experience with a cold burger at Eastgate Wimpy, I was contacted by a representative and the issue as to why it was cold was explained and the measures to improve have been put in place. Loadshedding, no need to say more and they will do their best to serve hot food. Thank you for listening Wimpy Eastgate, I will visit again.

I love their pickup and drop-off point it really makes life easier when you are using Uber

Busy but it is a holiday in SA today. All shops open, good thing as people need to catch up with debt, not that I think the centre management give a hoot if you win or fail? They just want their rent. I wish the shop owners all the success over this holiday period. Maybe lock down will keep people in JHB and no travelling allowed?

To class appearance, food court has everything you could want. Perfect service, Very clean.the packing us the best and us affordable. Great fully stoked stores.

It was too busy considering that we were experience a surge on Covid 19 infections and shops have been re-arranged. I could not find Mr Price Home near where Mr Price was. It was illogical.

The experience was great, Eastgate is a family Mall we had so much fun there, especially at the food court ️

Eastgate Mall is well located of Albertina Sisulu offering a one stop shopping experience.
Enough eateries available catering for all taste buds and all the main retail outlets under one roof.
The floor plan is not that easy to navigate but hallways are broad well lit and clean.
Main attractions include the cinema, Krispy Kreme and a Starbucks along various other exclusive brand name outlets.
Well worth a visit.

East gate is in the top ten malls in south Africa. It is a friendly place to be where you enjoy shopping without thinking about those grabbing people's bags.

Was mad busy with shoppers at the end of the month. Especially around the banks. That being said the place was clean and tidy and I did not struggle to park.
I was annoyed that I had to pay for parking when I was only there for 10 mins or so.most shopping centers give you 30 mins free.

Clean. Well sanitized. Knowledge security staff. I got a bit turned around"lost" and they helped with proper directions. Well done keep it up.

Available for an unlikely sports related emergency purchase at 6: 30pm when everyone else had closed. They even searched for the item and served us with a smile

It's been some years since I last visited the mall but I'm happy to see some new changes to it. For some reason being there makes me feel at peace.

It has been in existence for many years but still visitable, has top class stores
Its a place you would be any time of the year

My shopping at Eastgate was great.telecom services was perfect.checkers was also brilliant I enjoyed every minute.

Plenty of shop variety is good. Bad 1. Shortage or zero info booths or security. I wandered 30 minutes looking for shop I needed 2. Parking entrance 1 payment machines not working properly. Nobody to help. Pressed call button but speaker was so poor could not hear. Another 20 minutes frustration Still no sign of a single Eastgate Centre employee

Enjoyed the motor show. Dinner at my favorite restaurant Primi psta was awesome and service with a smile as always. Thank you

The shopping is perfect, only problem is the transportation, that is uber and taxify not being allowed to pick up by the metered taxis, that's a let down for those who shop on a budget and have a lot of shopping to take home

It's a practical mall, has everything you could want, from stores to fast food, restaurants, movies, and they occasionally have events at East Gate, currently there's a car event, and they have cars parked in the mall, like audi R8, and classic cars like a 1962 Corvette.
