Etas Restaurant - Time Square reviews
13So disappointed! We waited almost an hour for our food and when it appeared at last, the steak was cold and bland (while the chips was piping hot). Never again!
Pathetic! Dont go there. Service is none existant. Sat for 20 minutes without service and asked the manager 2 times for a waiter. We saw 3 other tables where people just stood up and left.
Poor service. Table of 8 we got 3 side plates. Asked for a waiter, nothing. We left after 20 minutes.
Bad service, worse food. If you want to order a overpriced meal and end up not even eating it all cause it's disgusting.
Magdelline absolutely arrogant, terrible service from the manager, actually said that the restaurant is full and we can go elsewhere if we don't like the Show Menu, which we weren't informed about. Will not come back here again!
The food was very good. But the place seemed to lack atmosphere. Perhaps this was only due to the time of our visit
Friendly staff. The food was good, but a little on the pricey side. The desert is amazing and well worth the money. Go for the 5 item desert they're all amazing!
Service was a bit lacking, and I didn't personally like the Chinese chicken wings but great venue, great concept for picky eaters and light eaters - I wish more restaurants organised their menus like this place.
What a disappointment. We were pressed for time and decided to skip the tapas and go straight for the main course. Waited an hour for our food and when it arrived the steak was already cold. There was no salt and pepper and the waitress had to go and look for a set. The rib eye looked like glorified minute steaks and they definitely serve the worst cappuccino in Pretoria. The only positive is the waitress was friendly. Never again!

Before booking at Etas I read other reviews and to be honest I was very hesitant to book. However I like to experience things for myself. We went there for Saturday lunch and I must say I was actually very impressed. The waitress was friendly and attentive, the manager came over twice to ensure we were happy. Although I will admit it was not exceptionally busy. Their sangria was lovely. The food was tasty, well presented and came out in a normal time frame. We had an 11 year old with us and he was able to order Tapas from the menu that he really enjoyed as well. The atmosphere could be improved apon a bit though. At the end I am happy I gave them a try and enjoyed our afteroon.
Nice for light meals and snacks. Th staff is friendly and the food not bad either. The inside seats is limited so book in advance if you are a larger group or want to sit inside.
