Food Lover's Market Westgate

Bought 2 watermelons for R59 on Saturday for a function and they tasted horrible, i did not even use them. I couldn't not bring them back cause I lost the proof of payment. I love this store but their fruits always disappoints me, they like to put fruits that are old underneath their fresh one in a pack so that customers don't see. Strawberries are always off

Myself and my husband went after work today. We wanted the special in the news paper on pork belly espetada. We apporoach the butcher and he did not know what we talking about and eventually told us its sold out?

I think it was never put out because there no sign anywhere where it was placed.

If its in the newspaper I expect it to be on shelves otherwise the newspaper is a lie.

It's smelt like old vegetables and the staff were unfriendly. Food Lover's usually have a high standard and this one did not meet the standards attached to the Food Lover's brand.

Love going to Food Lover's although I once had food poisoning after eating sushi. So I'm very skeptical to buy sushi from Food Lover's again.

I went to Foodlovers in Westgate Mall this afternoon and picked up a pack of Mighty Soft hot dog rolls. The expiry date was 13/10/2023 (which is two days from today) yet the rolls were green and moldy. It was really disgusting to look at. How can you guys supply such pathetic quality food to your customers?

I will never purchase any of your Mighty Soft products again!

This morning I was in the normal line to pay for my goods.every time a cashier is free a person from a 2nd line from the ABSA teller walk to the teller to pay for goods, not allowing the normal line to pay.this is totally unacceptable and bad customer service.

Pricing on multiple products are wrong, they charge you more at the till, bad advertising, security at the door are unfriendly and make you feel awkward, the staff have no idea of their prices or what specials are in store, the bakery staff are rude while the store itself is ill-equipped with basic amenities such as tongs to use at the bakery.

Beautiful and neat store, always fully stocked. Really friendly and helpful staff. My favourite store

I am disappointed with the cashiers at Food Lovers Market Westgate they overcharge me with 2 broccoli for R30, Cabbage R10,2 Lettuce R40, Garlic bread R20, and Bananas R15 the total amount was R200. I had asked the lady if this is the correct amount. She said yes. I told her I will pay for this but I am going to check my slip at home since I did not have my glasses with me.
She said I am sorry I have charged you for 3 Lettuce. Still it did not makes sense. I have calculated my staff and told the the total. She gave me attitude, and ask her friend for the calculator. I told her this does not need a calculator. I just left everything and walked out. This is the second time that I have been overcharge in this shop.

Love shopping here. Yes, the queues can be long at times, but they move fast.

The food is fresh and well priced. Where else will you get almost 1KG of Mince for R50? And the mince is excellent.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They will literally take you to the item you are looking for, even if it's on the other side of the store.

I say 5 stars for freshness, friendliness and care.

I have visited FLM Westgate three times if my memory serves me right.
All three visits were very pleasant. The shop was super clean! I met friendly stuff. Their burger buns are amazing although they are not the only thing i like about the shop.
My last visit 2 days ago was the most enjoyable. Coenie Vemaak by the biltong area made my day.let me not get into the details:)

Love the new revamp. Only problem here is the floor staff are not friendly. You never see them smiling and it's as if they're doing you a favor when you ask for their help. Otherwise it's a great store to shop at cause I always find what I want.

The security is rude and VERY DISRESPECTFUL
. CHANGE THEM. I gave them 4 now due to the management response. Thank you

Average place to shop. Watch their special offers they offer. I can place it in an average category shopping experience with price and products.

Fruit and veggies very poor qaulity, prices on the rack is not what you pay at the till, always a issue.

Good Morning. I visited your store yesterday for the special on stork (3 tubs for R100) but the floor staff told me they did'nt receive stock yet. Now why do you advertise if you don't have stock? And the staff working in that department were so unfriendly i left my trolley right there and left your store and i won't return again. I don't own them anything but they own me respect.

Make sure you check their fruits and veges as they tend to hide the rotten ones at the bottom of the good looking ones. Their baked bread and rolls are not covered, which I find disgusting especially now that there is so many flies around us and covid

Disgusting experience with management and staff. Will never use this store again. They're too lazy to bother rectifying incorrect pricing.they wouldn't change it. You need to walk back to the product you bought, take a picture of the pricing, then go back to the teller who will grudgingly rectify.

Excellent, newly renovated its like I'm in New York
I just hope customer care matches the look.

The new layout of the store is open.
It is easy to access goods.
There are more staff on the floor and it is easy to be served.
