Fortune Dragon Chinese Restaurant reviews
21Deep fried wontons are consistently over fried and way to hard, the deep fried dumplings are just steamed and not deep fried and I decided to try their brisket noodle soup which was horrible had the taste of cup a soup and no brisket in it at all just cartilage pieces
This Chinese restaurant is my favourite in Pretoria. Their sushi is amazing, the pieces are big and they don’t skimp on the fish. I usually call and order to collect and they are very fast…
Highly recommend.
This is my favorite place! I usually order chicken noodle soup and veges spring roll. Sometimes sushi.
If you want fast, tasty Chinese takaway with gob-smacking value for your money, look no further. The heftiest, tastiest duck chow mein I've ever had - it was enough to fill 2 people and portion for 3. For R72. The sushi was fresh and tasty, and great value, if slightly rough around the edges. Sweet and sour pork was delicious as well, although the separately packaged sauce was not the best I've ever had. Wouldn't expect this level of quality and value from such a humble-looking place!
Really tasteful Chinese food. I would recommend this store over the other common chain outlets. Sushi looks good too!
Don’t let the prices fool you. They have amazing chinese food and the best sushi in Pretoria at a fraction of the normal price. Well worth a try.
My favorite affordable sushi place. So generous with their portions and sides. Really great sushi with a wide variety of options and platters. Very friendly staff.
We visit here atleast once a week
One of the tastiest and cheapest Chinese takeaways out there. This is my second time ordering from them and all I got was amazing service.
Great food with fantastic prices.the Salmon salad and chicken chow mein is particularly good. BIG portions = good value!
Delicious fresh sushi with great service. The cooked food is just as good and thr portion sizes are very generous. Can definitely recommend!
Veggie chop suey is absolutely horrendous. It's tasteless. Did the kitchen run out of souce? Veggies are steamed with no salt, sugar or any slice whatsoever.
Bad attention to the Uber request. Missing cutlery on uber eats order may sound like a no big deal - wrong.
Not when you're on a trip in Pretoria staying in a place with no cutlery whatsoever.
Thanks guys, it was disgusting to eat rice and saggy veggies with fingers.
Absolute best sushi place in Gauteng! Always an incredible value for money and they are not skimpy on salmon or that delicious mayonaise. Everything always tastes fresh. We eat from here at least twice a month.
Good and friendly Chinese restaurant. The food has a great taste and the owners will give you a great welcome. I loved it.
Great food and service. Went the extra mile for delivering excellent service on a rainy night for my fiance's birthday! Love them!
Only been there 3 times but will go back. Very affordable. Two branches Groenkloof and Newlands
Always good, fresh and value for money sushi. Because of this place, I've become a complete sushi addict.
Best sushi and sashimi in Pretoria. And the cheapest too. I order takeout every Frida and its ready in 5 minutes. Its always fresh and tasty. Half the price of Ocean Basket for the same meal.
Very delicious but presentation a bit of lacking
Thank you for serving us even with loadshedding
The sweet and sour pork was bland and the rice was starchy, unfortunately. It also wasn't what I expected from a sweet and sour pork, it was battered pork next to rice and a take away container of sweet and sour sauce. However, the Szechuan chicken was good.
Fortune Dragon produces good food but heavily MSG'd. The chef was kind enough to switch the pork wan ton with chicken dumplings. The fried rice was well made while the prawn cashew was mostly cashews and vegetables not many prawns.one last complaint in parting was the huge amount of pork choices vs other proteins.
