Really really good experience.we stayed overnight for dinner bed and breakfast.staff treats you like royalty and the food is still some of the best in Gauteng.definitely would recommend for a stay-cation (while in lockdown) or as a quick getaway.

Exceptional adventure! This venue is world class from dinning to the room to the location. My top 4 in the world experience, up there with Paris, New York and New Zealand. The rooms are warm, inviting, luxurious and over the top detail is made to ensure the guests are treated like royalty. Dinning experience was a fabulous, delicious and a fantastic adventure. The food from breakfast right to dinner will awaken your tastebuds with fresh, delightful and gorgeous flavors. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and skillful. Very clean environment I side and outdoors. The bottle water is some of the best harvested from the cradle of man kind area from the rocks themselves. I am definitely coming back here.perfect getaway minutes out of the city. All your senses will be stimulated at this venue. Nothing was left to be wanting. Thank you for the best experience ever!

What a fantastic fine dining experience, a nice tranquil setting. The wine teaser pairing is well worth it as the wines are well selected. Take your significant other for a romantic dinner.

Stayed here in December 2019. Booked the honeymoon suite. The room is tired and in desperate need of an update and deep clean with stained furniture and rugs. The rug at the toilet had a huge brown stain. It’s just gross. The jacuzzi didn’t work. There was no WiFi in the room and they couldn’t fix it during my stay. They don’t have Dstv and the tv option they do have needs WiFi - so basically with the WiFi problems, you have no tv in the room. They also have a fly problem - they explain the reasons and have instituted some things to try and treat it blah blah blah - but they still have a huge issue. So it’s unpleasant to go outside or try and eat at the restaurant. The restaurant standard has also slipped significantly. I have dietary restrictions so asked for fish or veg - you get the same chunk of fish with slightly varied vegetables course after course. Breakfast is R225 and all I got was an omelette with a teeny bit of cheese and tomato and a single baby potato! Completely overpriced. This used to be one of my favorite places for a weekend getaway, but unfortunately it is now just unpleasant and overpriced. The wait staff do try really hard to assist though.

Very expensive for the tiny portions and way too many flies - right there where you have to eat. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant

Attended a wedding over the weekend, the rooms need a good clean and maintenance. On Sunday morning the breakfast service was shocking and I ended up not having the warm meal, I ordered my meal fist and after not receiving a meal and four discussions with the servers one incorrect plate and a limp apology from a manager I opted not to eat as the rest of our party had all finished their meals.

Beautiful venue. A lot of flies around but they have done their best to keep them away, enjoyed my stay very much.

Bittersweet. As a guest for a wedding it was excellent until the Bride and Groom left and then we were asked to leave rather quickly. As a supplier. Not good at all. A typical cattle farm venue. Lights up so everything out NOW! I understand the need to do setups for the next day but still allow time from your service providers to clear their equipment and get out. The problem with the venue espically for a wedding is the strict noise control and time limits due to the residents and eco estate that its situated on. I am not saying that the venue is not amazing for a wedding, I am suggesting to think about what kind of venue you want for your wedding. If you plan to have a massive party then I don't recommend the venue, but if you have a small intimate relaxed Wedding with limited sound and live acoustic artists, I would recommend the venue.

We drove all the way from Centurion, only to find that the restaurant is only by bookings and we couldn’t go in. So disappointed.

Thank you to the chef's, was my first time actually to a strictly four course meal. Michael, our waiter amazing. Thank you Michael and Vusi for saving the day. Will definitely be going back for some picnic.

They had spare raspberry jelly because it was on every single dish. Worst fine dining experience I've had.

Extremely disappointed, seeing as the place had good reviews. First of all the service sucked. We ordered three platters, and after we were told they had no cheese, cancelled the one. The ribs were good, but came with a TERRIBLE cold slaw. Next we had a “bar bites” platter. They gave us 3 of the 7 items on the menu, the rest they changed unilaterally. When we complained to the waiter he just said “sorry, next time we will tell you if we don’t have something”. Then he disappeared, didn’t see him again for the rest of the day. Pathetic, avoid.

Such a great place for team buildings and as just a gateway spot. The food is very tasty, for a fine dinning. Cocktails are not as good though.

Had lunch there today! 6 course set menu, beautifully served, food was really good. Our waiter Michael was excellent too. Just cannot warrant the price per person. Very, very expensive!

Beautiful 5 star restuarant and hotel! The dining experience was out of this world! The rooms were amazing!

Such an enjoyable experience! The food menu was part of the Discovery Restaurant Week but was amazing and went from great to greatest for a 3 course meal and wine pairing. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Situated next to a dam, this restaurant ensures everyone has a great view. The food was absolutely fantastic at a reasonable price, definitely worth the visit. I found the negative reviews concerning the condition of the building and a fly problem unsubstantiated. Although there were 2 or 3 flying around, this is not uncommon in the middle of the Bush. Definitely a must try restaurant!

Nice place, rooms are big and comfortable, food is amazing. However the smell from the dam and flies spoils everything.
