Gino's Pizza

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Gino's last. Fantastic and patient service with very good food with portions that give you the best bang for your buck. Furthermore, the atmosphere was one of fun and memories, making the evening one to remember.

The food is very, very good as was our waitress.
But, I really feel that the bathroom, I was in the ladies, needs a face lift.that mattress in the baby station should be thrown out and burnt, and then replaced. I didn't want to touch anything in the ladies, and the place looked dirty.a lot is due to age.but then give the place a revamp and put some decent lighting into the room.
The lid of the pepper cellar looked as if someone had stood on it, and it had then been forced back onto the bottle.
We then came to pay our bill, no mints!
It would have been nice to have something to pop into your mouth to freshen it up after a lovely meal.
But, the evening was spent with a very good friend, so we did enjoy our time there. We will go back, hopefully I won't need to use the loo

A little disappointed. We know Gino's the whole 40 years since they opened in Harry street and the quality of the food is still very good. Real Italian flavour although the service was very slow and I had to ask for my Alfredo to be reheated. We still enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience. Happy 40th birthday, hope you last another 40 years

Best pizza in the whole of SA! Their chillies are also great, and the pink sauce is out of this world!

My wife had the Spareribs Pizza and I had the Beef Alfredo with Noodles. The food was freshly cooked and arrived in a reasonable time, piping hot which really makes a pleasant change these days. The servings were large enough for both of us to have ample lunch today. The atmosphere was a bit quiet probably because it was a Wednesday night and we were quite early so there were fewer patrons

The food wasn't that great. The deco of the restaurant is kind of dated. However the staff was friendly.

Food never disappoints, pizzas are great, and I highly recommend the Maria's special, Gino's is legendary been dinning there since I was a child. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place. Pizzas are great, they are huge, I can never finish it and ends up as doggie bag for breakfast. Staff are amazing. It can get very busy sometimes so best to make a reservation

Pizza was very good but that is unfortunately where it ended. The mussel starter was bland and the mussels were old and grainy like they had been frozen for a very long time. The gnocchi was soft and stodgy. To make matters worse the watress packed the leftover bread in with the mussels in the take away so it soaked up all the sauce and made one big mess. So disappointed in a place that came so highly recommended.

Amazing staff food and service more for adults balcony is beautiful at sunset and if you're 18+ try the sangria and pizzas

I have followed Gino's around their various locations for 30 years and with good reason. The BEST, authentic pasta you will ever taste. Highly recommend the ravioli. You will not be disappointed.

My first memory of Gino's was about 30/31 years ago. From my Father taking his family, and now I take my family here. If you really want great food and amazing atmosphere, go to Gino's. To the many years you have been here Gino's to the many more years to come. All I can say is, "Saluti"!

Classic Italian restaurant. Good food and a great atmosphere. The only sound you hear is of people's conversations. No music. A true family restaurant. I'm going back soon

A staple and historic part of the South! Fantastic food, superb service! Great atmosphere for family dinners, multi-generational get togethers and events plus TV screens all over so you don't miss the sport! Smoking and non-smoking areas cater for everyone! What are you waiting for?

This is still the best pizza joint out in the south. Excellent food and has such a vibe. Excellent service. Will always be the number 1 pizza joint 4 me.

Absolutely love going to Ginos.worth the 25 min drive for us to get there. Pizza made by the chefs while you watch through a glass window into the kitchen.
