HEALth-WorX Medical & Dental Centre - Oakfields

One star because the admin staff is unprofessional, slipshod and unreiiable. (The dentist is excellent and I give him 5 stars!) I called to ask if they accept my medical aid, they checked and said Yes.

When I arrived I showed them my medical aid card and they entered all the details into the computer, not saying they didn't accept the medical aid.

However only after my dental appointment was I told that indeed they do not accept my medical aid and that I had to pay cash for the work done.

At least two different staff members had all my details well before the time of the appointment and could have warned me but they chose not to do so.

(It's a lot of money for a state pensioner) and I am extremely unhappy with the level of service they - not the dentist - provided.

Be warned! If you have a medical aid make sure up front that they are aware and will deal with you honestly.

Super spacious and modern appearance. Efficient and friendly staff. New to Health-Worx but is now my choice of doctors with Dr Myburgh who is amazing

I brought my 77 year old Dad to this practice last Friday as he was very ill. Right from making the appointment online, to the reception, through Dr Myburgh and onto Jessica in the casualty section - the service we received was nothing but outstanding! We were treated with kindness and professionalism. What a fantastic team! Thank you to everyone concerned. I can highly recommend this practice and specifically Dr Anel Myburgh - she is THE BEST!

Professional looking facilities. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
Dr Singh was very helpful and showed genuine concern. Great sub Acute facility as well.

Beautiful Day Clinic. I was seen by Dr Singh. Very pleasant, experienced and professional doctor. I went after hours just before 18h00. I was seen with great patience regardless of the time. From the reception to the treatment, that I received from the competent Sr Magda (I hope, I got the name right.) I was so sick with the flu and had just knocked off work. Thank you for your assistance

Excellent from the minute you walk in the door! Dr Prinsloo (Dentist) is amazing and her support staff are lovely to deal with too. My General Practitioner, Dr Singh, has such a great manner that you feel completely taken care of and in the best hands possible.
Again all the support staff, especially Jessica, are a pleasure to deal with. Well done!

I went to Healthworx at Oakfields and was told that they accept my medical insurance and that my account will be sent to the insurance. Much to my surprise I got a call from them telling me that the medical aid rejected the account and that I am liable for this. Be careful make sure before you go there.

Dr Hiralal is one of the kindest, most sympathetic doctors I have ever been to. As a woman, I feel my symptoms are often dismissed. Dr Hiralal was very thorough and efficient and actually listened to me. I highly recommend her and Healthworx medical centre oak fields - every member of staff is so friendly and welcoming. Wish I could give more stars!
