This restaurant is not an experience, it’s a lifestyle. Has stunning views of Sandton. Great spot to catch up with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon.

I must mention that the coffee machine doesn’t work during loadshedding so be mindful of that.

Our waiter was very courteous from the moment we walked in. We received stellar service. 10/10

My son's wake was here in 2016. I have not had the strength to go back since. I did and was not disappointed in any way.

What an amazing experience! Definitely a bucket list moment, service was excellent with friendly smiles from all. The atmosphere & surroundings were breathtaking during sunset. Will definitely be there again soon!

I must have experienceI highly recommend dinner in the sky. The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing, couldn't have asked for a better experience while dining in the sky. Although they give out blankets, it's advisable to gear up warmly.

A hidden gem, definitely not only for the school parents. Food was really good, with a varied menu that offers something for everyone. Service was great and a fantastic view. There's also a bar area if you just want a few drinks.

Higher Ground is such a gem hidden from the mainstream. Stunning atmosphere to have a family lunch or a business get together. My favorite is a cold beer and cheese burger and chips.

This was such a wonderful experience of having "lunch in the sky". Thanks to my earth Angel's for creating this experience of a memorable birthday. They even allowed us to release a dove from above for my mum that is now my heaven angel.

Tasty food and a beautiful night view of the Sandton skyline. Will be great to see their full menu again post covid perhaps?

Great location for sundowners, overlooking the St Stithians grounds with the Sandton skyline on the horizon. Upmarket menu and buzzing atmosphere to complement. If you can't decide what to order, have the Alfredo!

Probably one of the best views to enjoy in Johannesburg while you eat, go late afternoon / early evening. Food was excellent, service was great, been back a few times already.

A brilliant experience if you looking for something different and not afraid of heights. Food was amazing and well worth it. Dress warm if you are going at night or during colder times as the wind can get cold.

Goof food but the service was a teeny bit slow. Great atmosphere and view, though. A really nice place.

Higher Ground has a quick, friendly and accommodating service. The menu is typical pub fare, but served with an inviting attention to presentation and flavour. Prices are a bit steep but probably do not deplete the pockets of the residential demographic.
