I am extremely dissatisfied with the Hyundai Brand at the moment. On Monday, January 15th, 2024, I made a phone call to them and also sent an email because I had received no response even after two hours.
Today is January 17th, 2024, and I still haven't received any calls or responses from the head office.
I purchased a brand new vehicle and unfortunately, there were issues with it right from the start.
Initially, I thought it was a minor problem and had the dealer attempt to repair it. However, it turned out to be a major issue, and I informed the dealership that I did not want to keep the vehicle since it was less than a week old.
I then reached out to the Hyundai Head office, but I did not receive any response. This experience with Hyundai has been incredibly disappointing. It has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I will no longer be supporting their brands in the future.

I have purchased 3 H100 Bakkies from Hyundai. It's a really great vehicle and very satisfied with it but as far as service goes Hyundai only know how to sell but no competence with service not even 1out of 5

I send my car for service at Hyundai Lenasia after receiving an sms indicating that their are running a free labour special. On collecting my car the invoice showed 1173 charged for labour. The gentleman who was introduced as the manager was so arrogant and offered no assistance. I view this as unfair and misleading customers under false pretense.

Hyundai The Glen's Pre-owned Managers (former Desmond Govender) and the current (Senamile Makhene) have taken me from pillar to post for 16 months now regarding a navigation system they have charged me for and is not working. Senamile took the SD card in January and promised that she will keep me in the loop of what is happening however I have run out of patience as Senamile is now ignoring me. I have sent her an email, contacted her several times and left messages for her to contact me and I was advised she will contact me, however up to now I have not received any communication from me.

@Hyundai South Africa you also stated that I will be contacted however I have not received any communication from anyone in your organization.

Is it how you treat your customers?

I was involved in M14 Durban accident on 06/03/2023 and the brand the I trusted from day 1 since 2011 failed and disappointed me. I never bought any car expect for Hyundai. My airbags did not deploy after such a huge impact from a fully loaded truck, this is after i have done all my services at Hyundai. I lost faith and trust in this brand i need answers on why my airbags did not deploy. Other victims were saved by airbags.

So I have reached out to Hyundai customer car but as yet have not received any assistance.i tried calling Hyundai Bellville on Thursday 23/02/2023 also for assistance but guess i called at the wrong time as every one in service department was apparently busy and this I assumed as i was waiting on the phone for over 9 minutes to e helped, being directed to parts department, back to reception, and so it went on.would I recommend Hyundai Bellville for your next purchase or service of your car, NO.up till today not even Mr. Andre Kuhm has called.
Would i personally purchase a Hyundai vehicle, NO.and for now my wife needs to get rid of her, 2019 Hyundai Accent car ASAP. I would rather return to VW.

Disgusting service the head office is such a joke and a disgrace to the brand. No respect for people with disabilities I wished I never bought this car. Sales men took advantage the person was deaf sold the car and gave no service after that. Made called to head office gave me a call center number spoken to Hellen said she will help no help as yet I am so upset. I will contact CEO of Hyundai.

If I could give a ZERO, I would.
Woodmead is the worst ever. Been waiting 2 weeks now for spare key.
Mis-informed me about my interest rate.
Mis-informed me about my pmt.
The lady working at the dealer, doesn't even know what a mud-flap is - she is working on cars without basic knowledge.
No communication if my tracker was installed, if the DEKRA report has been submitted.
No one could assist me how the tracker app is being activated - drove a week without the tracker being activated.
Need to wait 4 days for copy of my delivery note; after a few reminders.
They gave me a car where the wheel balancing is of; after 2nd attempt, the balancing is still off.

Could not assist me with basic information they should have on-hand.

Malmesbury Hyundai assisted me with all the info I needed within 1 minute and they followed up afterwards. Please send your staff to Malmesbury for training.

Shocking service. Nobody gets back to you, nobody cares, car broke down less than 24 hours after purchase, nobody takes responsibility or accountability. You are on your own. Never will I deal with a Hyundai dealership ever again. Their tag line is laughable. Isn't there less than one star?

My shout out is to a very special person. His name is Otto and works at Hyundai Centurion. I enquired about a model 120i die cast car for my grandson. Even though the dealership do not sell, Otto took one from his collection and personally handed the car to my grandson. What a gentelman who gave without expecting anything in return. What an amazing gesture and strong representation of the Hyundai brand. I should have taken photo's Thank you Otto my grandson is blow away with the car and your kindness. Kathy

I have had an experience in the Western Cape where it appears that even reporting a matter to the DP and GM, months later I have yet to receive a response. (Purchasing my daughter a brand new Venue)

Services is very poor and approach to the customer not so good, I bought a new Hyundai creta end January this year, the car started giving me problems in June took it to nearest Hyundai but the problem persisted.called Hyundai head office I was helped by Zinhle Nxumalo who was very rude she said I must use public transport, when I asked is it possible to get another car as this one is giving me problems at 5months, how much more when its 5yrs old, she plainly said its their problem I should deal with the bank the car is no longer their problem. If we don't get help from the head office where must we run to. I am very disappointed in HYUNDAI.

My sister bought a mini cooper 2 months ago and she was promised it will be fixed now they are giving her a runaround. We are going to escalate this until our voices are heard and she is sorted out. Is she being treated like this because she's a young black female? Do you treat all your customers like this?

She only receives promises and also being told you guys are waiting for the insurance to approve. What level of service and disrespect is this? The front light is not working, and no one is doing anything about it. Her car is heating up, the stereo is not connected, there's no service book and the logbook etc.

THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE BEACAUSE SHE IS A SINGLE WOMAN, WELL HYUNDAI NORTHCLIFF (MARIOUS) I WILL ESCALATE THIS MARK MY WORDS.

My name is Lorraine Mathebula, my daughter Karabo Mathebula bought Atos on the 05 May 2022 and the license plate number and disc was supposed to be issued on the 26 May 2022 but it was postponed to 16 June 2022 because the sales person that sold her a car resigned and there were no paperwork that shows that her car’s documents were send to traffic department.
She has never spoken to the manager or supervisor because she’s always told that they are either not available or they are in meetings.
I also called and my call was never returned.
She has no paperwork from either AA Roadworthy or the dealership that proved that the car is in her name not the dealership.
No one has ever called her, she’s the one who always contact the dealership to find out how far they are with her paperwork.
Can we please get clarification about this matter and the whole procedure of how when and why?
My daughter is at risk of driving a car with no plate number for so long, thugs are targeting people who drive such cars?
