Have always been rather scared of the dentist, not having the greatest experiences. However, Dr. Jurie Kok and Dr. Nkhumeleni (orthodontist) have complety transformed my experience. Not only is the practice highly competent, but kind and inviting. Would recommend and am definitely returning for general check ups and anything else which may be needed.

I was happy with them til one day I was told that my medical aid funds were finished, I paid with no hassles. Only to find out they were lying, now it was a double payment from me. Took this to their attention to say my medical aid paid and I also paid, asked for a refund…they said they don’t see where my money went to and was allocated. My matter was handled by Lucia who keeps lying about getting back to me and never does, so my R520 that was for my so called consultation is still not refunded and they’re not bothered.

Dr Green, is such a darling. Started seeing her when she first joined the organisation and like any other patient I was a bit reluctant at first but results do not lie. My toddler suffers from serious allergies that occur twice if not thrice a week so we had become regulars at Intercare. She is knowledgeable, even paediatricians could not help us -I have never trusted a Dr like I trust her. She does not wait for you to ask the "What could be the problem with me" and even gave me a courtesy call days later to find out how my son was doing. We went from being there every week to once after two months because of flu which cannot be avoided. I took my mother there the past Sat as she was visiting this side and got terribly sick- and yesterday already there was a massive difference and throughout our ordeal and she was very empathetic about my mother's chronic condition. She also helped me months back when I woke up and I had temporarily lost my vision, my husband and I were stressed but her calm demeanour and knowledge ensured I do not end up in hospital and that I never have that episode again. I wish all Drs were like that. Kudos to Intercare for hiring such a Dr, she is such a gem. Also a special compliment to Sibusiso for assisting my mother and I so patiently this past Saturday. There was a time nurse Thembi disappeared for over 20mins while she was the only nurse on duty and he literally left his work station to assist us. I was very impressed so was my elderly mother.

Booked an appointment at 17h15 and I have still not been helped at 17h50.everytime I visit you need to sit for 45 min before being helped

The worst doctors appointment I've ever had dr green was very rude, hostile and belittling towards me she definitely need to work on her bedside manner first and last time I go here

I would not recommend going to the dentist or the doctors here, rather find dentist and doctors who cares and want to get you healthy.

Dr C. Green is absolutely AMAZING! I have seen her twice now and she really is the best Dr I have seen in ages, she is really amazing! My go to DR forever!

What a shock I just got phoning their xray department. The lady that answered needs to go for some phone skills rude to say the least! Had such a pleasure speaking this morning to the Dr appointment department this morning and then this from their exray department. Will rather just change drs over all

It is frustrating to have a debate with the receptionist when phoning to make an appointment. It seems a patient, no matter how ill, cannot just come in and wait for a doctor. I decided to find another doctor with staff that actually care about their patients.

Im sitting at intercare made a booking for 16: 30 and is now 17: 11 and I was still not help I mean what is the point of making a booking if doctor Green does not care to see her clients on time.

With Discovery Medical aid and our co-payments are R60. Suddenly because it is a Sunday they charge a co-payment of R280 yet they still going to claim R550 from medical aid. The same practice that used to charge R100 for co-payment claiming the funds are directed to preventative Covid measures. They have amazing Drs however they need to be reported to the medical board for malpractices. It’s unethical to even think of these extremes

Usually when you make an appointment to see a GP it's because you are sick. So for the Dr to not even show up is very concerning and unprofessional.

One of the most unorganized Dental professionals I've ever came across.for the 2nd time in a row we get there for your appointment but they advise that Its been rescheduled with who they rescheduled only God knows.we take time off for these appointments but all they say is sorry can you come back again for an appointment as they forgot to inform us.very very Poor service from the dental side of Intercare.very disappointing.it's sad that even the private sector in S. A is becoming increasingly more like government healthcare.just poor or no service.

Dr Kok is the best dentist I have ever been to. Why? Because firstly I have been to previous dentists that unfortunately messed my teeth up, and so became terrified of dentists. Dr Kok made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Explained what is wrong in detail and a course of action to follow to rehabilitate my teeth. He did a great cleaning for me to start the process. He has now helped me with a broken tooth and removed a root for me and I felt no pain during the procedure. He genuinely is very caring and open and honest. I would recommend him to anybody. He is very professional at all times. I am very grateful to him.

The nurse at Intercare Lancet is very rude! No customer service skills at all. I was just there to ask about the NIPT test for prenatal chromosomes and I left before I could ask. She just said “wait outside” without greeting and finding out what we were there for! Pathetic!

I have had some good service and then some really bad service from this practice

The latest round of bad service is as follows

My wife had blood work done on Thursday morning and on our waw out the lady at reception "made" a follow-up appointment to see the doctor after work today Monday 23rd May 2022 and confirmed it before we walked out

My wife arrived 45min early just to find that NO APPOINTMENT WAS MADE and is forced to wait and waste her time due to a person not doing their job

Hopefully the manager that left at 16H00 will do something as this is not acceptable service
