28 The service and reliability of care at Intercare has gotten extremely bad the past couple of years. After one of their best doctors left.
The Dr in the ER sent my wife home with a prescription for pain meds, and just telling her she has period pain she has to get over it.
Fast forward a few days, she has kidney infection and liver damage. But that is just period pain. Thank you Intercare for the pathetic service
I've been to Dr Dreyer and Dr Prinsloo - they are both excellent and I've gotten follow up calls each time. The practice is very efficient and I've never had any issue. Bonus is the Lancet lab where you can get pathology tests done on site.
Usually, we are completely happy with service. The young man at reception 14 May, just before 11: really needs to work on his people skills. Not a great experience.

Just a special thanks to Dr. Johan Botha who assisted me with my little one at the walk-in service earlier this week. I couldn't find an appointment with our GP so had to go to the walk-in service for the first time. I was helped almost immediately and Dr. Botha was so kind and friendly throughout the consult. Thank you!
Had a really good dentist appointment here with Dr Heinrich Weber. He himself was really friendly and approachable, but the whole experience was great from the reception team to the radiologist who took the x-rays. Was a very professional experience. Would recommend.
Switchboard incompetent.
Most doctors guess on diagnosis and request tests, which cause unecessarily costs for the patient and the results does not contribute to treatment.
Friendly staff. Docter Labuschagne always available to help. He phone back and give advice. So professional.
Dr Seef Pretorius struggles with the basics. He had to compare two blood reports. It's common sense. Unfortunately, he didn't think of that. I ended up doing it myself. Not recommended.
My wife had an appointment on 27 Sept 2022 and the Dr scheduled a follow up appointment for 29 Sept 2022. (2 days /48 hours later). Practice billed me twice (2) for a full consultation, while the follow-up was not supposed to be billed. Not what I expected from an Intercare faclity. Telephone number for the accounts department is also not working.
The service is So poor and the staff as well they didn’t want to give us an account for Xray for my sons foot but they gave the person behind us an account

We were sitting and waiting for the results as they said they are busy with the results 30 mins later when the Dr came to ask they said they sended it to him THERE ARE NO COMUNUCATION THE PERSONS WHO WORK THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY CRAB WITH NO HUMAN SKILLS TO DO WORK LIKE THAT
Waiting 60min over the appointment time and still no dokter, other patients waiting 5min to 10min before getting helped. Changed my doctor to any other available doctor and waited awhile but yet Nothing, i canceled my appointment and whent the other way. Soo unpleasant and frustrating experience.
This has been where I see my GP and dentist for several years now and I cannot recall ever having and unpleasant time while visiting. They have so many GP's here that it's quite easy to still be able to find a doctor's appointment until at least mid-afternoon on most days.
I didnt have a good experience. The doctor chatted more about himself then helping me. It is a Sunday and I would not like to spend my day at a Doctor's office. I am as sick as a dog, was dismissed and send home with a script for Sinucon that you can get over the counter. Never again will I visit Glenfair.
I am very displeased with the service that I got after my consultation at the walk-in centre. I visited the practice last Sunday and was referred to Lancet for blood tests by Dr Johan Botha. I went to Lancet the same day. After calling the practice, leaving messages and emailing Dr Botha everyday since Monday, I am still waiting for my results, 7 days later. Since Lancet does not release results to patients directly, I am still waiting my results. I'm feeling worse, with a lot of uncertainty about what could be wrong. My experience with Dr Botha has left a bitter taste in my mouth. He's utterly rude and has no regard for how waiting for results can make patients anxious.
Nee wat. If you've been to any other Intercare, you would also write this review. Not a good experience overall. Intercare Glenfair will not be seeing me again.
Confirmed my appointment the day before, when I got there they double booked and couldn't help me.
Waited two hours for an appointment when they booked me into the wrong department. Waited another 45 mins only to be told the doctor was not available. Avoid at all cost
We receive professional healthcare every time we visit. And just love the fact that everything is under one roof.
Terrible service. Exorbitant billing for follow up procedures that were verbally communicated to be free of charge. They do not answer their phones when calling to query billing. They do not even send you a invoice afterwards. It feels like they have an open cheque book to your medical savings.
