Intercare Hazeldean

Sick patients waiting to see doctors and the reception area is more concerned about outstanding payments than helping. They say patients first and compassion on their board, but there is none of that. So sad.

Very noisy! Unfriendly staff. Bad service. But such beautiful surroundings. So sad: you feel more like a prisoner than a patient. Waited for more than an hour to get pain meds.more m

Oor die algemeen is àl die personeel toegewyde en uitverkore en beroeps gerigte personeel.
Spesiale vermelding aan die volgende personeel: By opname: Suster Maureen en Mirriam se deeglike werk met my opname. Hulle het van die begin af my tuis laat voel tydens die opname proses. Suster Maureen se sagte hart, en altyd glimlaggend, was vir my 'n groot plus punt en bemoediging.
Suster Patricia en haar nagstaf wat tydens hulle diens beurt alles so vlot en op tyd laat verloop het. Sy het haar vinger op die pols regdeur gehad. Dit was opmerklik dat sy met beslistheid leiding neem om al die take betyds af te handel en die pasiënte so goed moontlik versorg te kry. Ook aan Suster Grace vir haar toewyding empatie en respek tydens my oggend of aande lyfwas periodes, my altyd met respek en diskreet versorg, sonder dat my selfvertroue skade gely het. Vir hierdie eienskap is dit 'n gawe van God, dankie Grace.
Suster Mokgadi sy is die vriendelikheid vanself. Behulpsaam en besorg oor elke pasiënt met wie sy in aanraking kom. Sy is absoluut kosbaar met 'n deurlopende positiewe gesindheid. Sy loop permanent met 'n glimlag, en is soos 'n moeder hen oor haar kuikens.
So ook elke ander personeel wat hier werksaam is, sal vêr gesoek moet word om hulle te vervang.
Dankie aan die twee fisio terapeute Corlia Reneé, dankie vir julle toegewyde hulp en ondersteuning, julle was net vir my goed gewees, en baie baie profesioneel en dierbaar.
Ook Dr's Terry en Visser vir julle bystand en daaglikse besoeke, julle is baie bekwaam en goud werd.
Dankie aan die kombuis personeel, wat ook 'n ondankbare diens lewer om almal se voedsel behoeftes te verseker. Wat my betref was die voedsel aangenaam, en voedsaam.
Dan ook my spesiale dank aan Suster Ina wat regtig ook my belange op die hart gedra het, regtig sy is 'n besige bytjie, met opregte toewyding, deernis en empatie. Dankie dat jy pasiënte se belange op die hart dra, al is dit goed of sleg. Ek waardeer jou uit die diepte van my hart.
Suster Elwen, jy is 'n "YSTER" en baie dankie vir die tydperk dat julle na my omgesien het. Ek wil net hierdie gedagte in U midde lê, en ek glo U is bewus hiervan: UITNEMENDHEID: (Exellence) kan nooit bereik word, sonder om konstant aandag te gee aan daardie dingetjies wat aan gewerk moet word om "EXELLENCE" te bereik nie, en julle streef daarna.
Nogmaals baie dankie vir julle versoring, wat 'n belewenis. My gebed vir U en u personeel, is dat die Here met al Sy goedheid en guns met elkeen van julle sal wees, en julle Hom verteenwoordig in julle diens werk. Lief vir julle almal. Dawid van Vuren.

Very clean environment and super friendly staff. Paediatric ward is very colourful and entertains children.

Location pin on Maps is in the wrong spot, and struggled to find the hospital in the dark. Please rectify.
Service in the clinic however was fantastic! Thank you for a pleasant experience.

I would've give this place a 5 star rating, the doctors are excellent and so helpful but the new receptionist is incredibly rude. She has no understanding of working with clients and makes you not wanting to go there.

Very upset to write this review. Went on 21 April 2022 for my grandmother and the hospital and staff were excellent and deserved 6 stars in fact.
Unfortunately on 5 May the receptionist had changed and we ended up with a rude intro to our day. She is rude and has no way of speaking with people and is completely unable to communicate. I would have been happy to rate 5 stars but I feel she needs to be noted before this destroys the entire hospital. She is the first impression and unfortunately leaves a sour taste in our mouths.

On a good note the rest of the visit was impeccable as always and deserves good mention. Luckily the
nurses were able to cheer us up again.

Happy to update that the matter was sorted out and the lady did apologize for her behavior. Thanks to management for helping out

My husband was admitted on Monday 1.2.2022. Shoulder replacement with previously amputated leg. So far cant complain. Phisio intensive and staff helpfull and friendly. BUT. How on earth do they think patient and staff can manage with manual beds. Everytime you want to sit up.lie down.eat.need anything he must call for help. Anybody with one leg and one arm.how did they think to manage that in a rehab facility. Very frustrating and frankly unsafe.

Good morning, I've been admitted to Hazeldean hospital on 28/02/22.for a procedure.
I have only words of gratitude,
It woud lnot be fare if I don't name these 3 people.
They are the kind of people that makes it worth going to this hospital when needed,
They were, friendly, kind, supportive, in every way.
Nothing was to much for them in helping and encouraging when I need it most. Not once did they complain in helping me.
They are deffenitely playing a big role in the success of being part of the staff.
I certainly recommend this hospital to others because of them.

Absolutely outstanding service from top to bottom, but I'd just like to highlight how I had an Xray done in less than 10 minutes, and the lady at reception at the sonar is amazing. Need I say that Dr Veenemans outstanding, thank you

Thanks to the hospital staff, physiotherapist, social worker at the hospital. You were wonderful and treated my mom with loving care! Vicky Lubbe, you were an angel from day one and with assisting me by organizing extra care for my mom at home!

The friendliness and care from the staff makes it absolutely worthwhile! Would definitely recommend

I was super impressed with this day hospital. The staff, particularly nurse Frieda and Lindiwe, made my short stay a very pleasant one. The hospital is clean and the food is amazing.
The only complaint I have is that the surgical gown, although definitely clean, had stubborn blood stains on it (the type that won't wash out). That was a bit of a let down, especially for me not particularly excited for my pending operation. All things considered, I would definitely recommend making use of this facility.

I just spoke to the person using the number written on the Internet and they were so rude. I actually wanted to book an appointment but I'm thinking otherwise now. Wow I'm actually very shocked by this treatment.

This facility is definately not recommended.
Service very poor.
My mom's hygiene was appalling when she was released.
The phone was never answered over a weekend so we could not get feedback at all.
This is in a time when we not allowed ro visit

Her suit case with clothes went missing.
Really not a good facility

Be very careful when paying these dentist. Make sure when you pay they allocate your payment to your name. We will never use or recommend them to anyone!

I am currently a patient at Intercare. This place is a nightmare! Besides the physio and occupational therapy there is nothing else. You just get moved back to your bed and God help you when you become a "nuisance" ring your bell as much as you want to, the staff just walks in, switches it off and disappear.
I've requested more blankets - not happening
I have, what feels like pressure sores - mention it with every nappy change to no avail
Received chocolates as a gift - just to have the staff member who eventually changed my nappy, help herself to chocolate without asking
It's 21: 40 and we've asked so many times to switch off the light. Not even talking about the staff party currently in the passage
I am definitely reporting this to Discovery. Busy conducting a survey amongst other patients as well. This is ludicrous

We were promised that my parents will be placed in a double room for there stay but on the fourth day without being notified only to find it out when we visiting them my father was moved to single room and my mother to general room i feel Management lied to use and my parents

My mother had gym (although she thoroughly enjoyed this), once a day and that was it for rehabilitation. Asking for support in going to toilet on your own was a lengthy wait. The same for a shower, if the towels were dry! The ward was cold in the evenings and there were no blankets available. Mom borrowed another patient's blanket and I had to take her a blanket for the other evenings. No chairs in wards for recuperating patients to sit in. Once gym was over, back to bed to lie for the rest of the day. I removed my Mom to recuperate in my home. I will definitely not recommend this facility.
