7 Absolutely appalling service.
Started with a check up by Dr Olivier due to a broken tooth.
He was unable to advise if I should do an extraction and get fillings and said it’s “up to you”.
So we did a temp filling and I made a booking at reception to return today for a 1 hour appointment (either for extraction or filling)
I then had to take the X-rays to another dentist who advised I should do an extraction.
I returned today for my appointment, only to be told that they made a mistake and I am booked for next week. Keep in mind that I took off work to be at this appointment, another thing that pissed me off is that it’s Ramadhaan and I did not fast today, as the extraction would have broken my fast due to the fluids being swallowed.
I ask for the dentist to come and speak to me personally about this issue, expecting some sort of remorse, he instead bursts into reception with an attitude, all puffed up, ready to have an argument and tells me this happens all the time due to people trying their luck to get appointments, implying that this is what I am doing as well.
What sort of a practice is this?
I took unpaid leave AND missed a day of fasting, AND then got an attitude from the dentist.
I will never return to this establishment and certainly would not advise anyone else to.
I submitted via E- mail an application document for Chronic medication. Dr Ben Veenemans only needs to complete his part with the diagnoses and medication.
Claim submitted to medical aid amounts to R954…. When I phoned them I was told it was a service they rendered like a consultation. This is how they depleted your medical aid funds. How many claims of this nature is submitted to medical aids without members questioning it.
Will rather travel 10-20km further to a PRIVATE GP
Friendly reception staff. Scheduled appointments almost always start on time and Dr Venter is highly recommended.
An astonishing experience at intercare silver lakes dentist - Dr Oliver Booyens. To say I am appalled is to put it mildly. The experience with the receptionist was peculiar, rather disorganized, I had to reschedule my appointment 30 minutes ahead. The dentist refused to listen to my requests and gave what I did not went there for. He literally just glanced at my mouth and rudely said everything was fine. He then tells me that I must book another appointment for what I want with a very demeaning tone. I was made to feel like I was begging for the service I do not deserve. Overall, I get charged an unnecessary fee, which exceeded what my medical aid can cover and still have not been given the service I went there for. The experience was horrible, not even animals should be treated with that kind of manner.
Bad service! Sit for more than half an hour in the virtual room without any communication why the Dr is not available. According to reception, she arrived late!
A waste of time!
I would like to commend Intercare Silver Lakes for the exceptional service I received in the past week (I visited twice). From the receptionist to seeing Dr. H. Wessels, I was treated with great compassion. I had an issue with my medical aid, and Rachelle from the accounts department was extremely willing to help me sort out the problem and request two paper claims. Thank you, Intercare Silver Lakes
Receptionists are VERY unprofessional and rude. The receptionists who “helped” me got my medical details wrong and therefore I ended up paying for my consultation. I went back to show the receptionist that she put my details in wrong. (Which I might ad that she did not apologise and instead lifted her nose because I told her my details are wrong) She had told me that they will send me my money back. It is day 3 and still no money shown I’m my account. I do not recommend going to Intercare Silverlakes.
