Good service. But sell too much imported poor quality products. Need support local manufacturers please.

On Saturday the 9th July I went to buy rechargeable bayonet globes. Upon my arrival I asked this BM guy who is working on the lights section for help. I patiently waited whilst he talked with his contractor home boys.
After he finished. He ignored me and served some of his home boys. I confronted him about my displeasure. He apologized and continued to help another batch of his home boys.
Ultimately another IM guy with a Pakistani accent offered to help me but he had no clue of what I wanted. Honestly he was nice and we even talked about Eid Mubarak.
I just took the E27 (with AC /DC switches) rechargeable globes which I did not want and went away. Somehow when I was about to go to the tills I saw some rechangeable globes on another section. I took two and both did not work when I arrived home.

Very poor customer service! I actually felt unwanted in the store. Staff very unhelpful and unfriendly.

The iron sheet n cement despatch old man doesn't respect people and is very arrogant. Even when he's fasting. Such disrespect. I am unable to leave my number here. Leave an email and I will send your my number

Bad service, total disregard for customers because they think we will keep on coming back of the occasional low prices.

Great value for money, offered most favorable prices on materials amongst 6 supplier quotations obtained.

The place has everything that has to do with building supplies. I was looking for a gas pigtail but couldn't find it, they only had gas stoves and normal gas pipes. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and he even suggested a few places that I could check the part from as they never keep them in stock.

I placed an order online and experienced some problems with the delivery and an outstanding item which was out of stock at the time.
Once I brought this under the attention of the online team I was contacted by Mr Ahmed Carrim. He dealt with this matter in a very professional manner, addressing the issue of undelivered stock and also taking note of the problems I had experienced using the online ordering system. It has been arranged that the outstanding item will be delivered to my daughter at her workplace first thing this morning. I feel more confident that we have now come to the end of this unfortunate incident.
I thank Mr Ahmed Carrim and Frans (Menlyn Store Manager) for the speedy resolution and for taking such quick action to deliver the outstanding product to my daughter at her place of work. This is much appreciated and thank you for keeping to your word. We are now very positive about shopping at K Carrim Harware and will continue to support you in our future hardware requirements.

Secured free customer parking, with security personnel, no need to panic when shopping in and very active helpful staff and very reasonable prices.

All basic needs under one roof, easy to shop as most of building materials available. Transport available as customer services excellent.

The store need to employ more staff to assist the customers becuz it's quite big the service is very slow

I being buying for building materials to Sammuel is a good sale person, i like the service as well the advices of the material.

I would rate 4-5 star for it's quality items and great prices, some staff provide great services, but I experienced an Indian guy who displayed some racism towards me, I touched him by mistake giving him a slip to check and he looked at me with disgust and immediately sprayed hand sanitizer just because I'm black. He touches so many peoples slips throughout the day and does not sanitize, he could have at least sanitized after I left and not gave me that look he did. I didn't expect such behavior after spending over R100k for my building Material.

The only delaying thing at Carrim is the system of waiting to get a code to pay with then come back to collect. More especially at electricical department. There is only 2 people working there. You have to queue to get either quotation or codes to pay with. Maybe add more people. The tiles side I once had a bad experience. I asked for a quotation of tiles then the guy gave me total amount then when is time for him to print the quotation for payment he said tiles are sold out and I waited for an hour. I wonder if he really calculated the amount or he was just busy with his things on the computer

I was asking for specific stuff and the guy threw the catalogue at me and said go and read this. He didnt even want to listen to what i was saying. I didn't have a good experience.wont be going back to this branch

It just a shop. Sales people don't even attend to you. Busy estimating plans even if you are standing in front of him.

Thank you for your excellent customer service and support, lodging a complaint on the speed performance of my gate motor and getting it resolved at high priority space of time brought smile to my face. Long live the management and staff of Kcarrim organisation.

Great service. Staff all over the place just to assist customers. My materials were quickly located, even got technical advice on best product to choose. Loved the place, was in & out with no time wasted.
