60 THE WORST KFC IN SOUTH AFRICA! Firstly I was ask if I could change my order because they didn't want to cook a fillet for my twister, so im like no I want a twister thank you and I will wait. I did not expect to be waiting for 40 MINUTES OKAY! 40 MINUTES for a simple twister and two colonel burgers! When I ask The staff they were extremely rude to me for even asking? Like 40 MINUTES cannot be normal.
It gets better my classic twister I ordered is pretty much empty barely chicken nor lettuce and the colonel burgers! And I waited 40 MINUTES for that!? !? I want a refund
This place has the worst service, especially when you want something "custom".
The place is not clean, deliveries always have old chips, and a Pedro's down the road would make a killing!
What we order and what we got is totally different! Lady at the drive through did not even listen what we ordered. Super dissatisfied with this KFC!
I hope a manager or decision making person gets to read this. PLEAAAASE can you keep the main door closed? It's 12.37 and 9 degrees (similar scenario when i was here last), main door is opened and the freezing draft blows straight to the till line, making beyond and uncomfortable experience waiting in line to order. Then you move to the tables area, heaters are on but the cold wind overtakes the whole place, again, still painful AND what a waste if electricity in loadshedding times! How can you be wasting our electricity like this? Shut the door and make it pleasant for customers to be there!
Put up big posters saying WE ARE OPEN, doors closed on account of the weather or something like that.
The past few experiences have been shocking. Either you wait 20min after ordering at the drive through, or the ice-cream machine is not working. Tonight we cannot order chicken or ice cream. Very poorly of this KFC. Please may the owner contact me?
They assume everyone has a smart phone and is paying by card, as you can only order via the self service screen inside the KFC. Drive thru queue was very long. The app is slow. When you eventually get your slip, there is nobody to help you. Your number flashes up on a screen then disappears forever. So you stand. And stand. Eventually you flag down somebody in the back. So you have paid for icecreams with flakes. They have no flakes. And they expect you to have cash change on you, to refund you. And then chicken bucket is put in a bag but has no lid on the bucket. Never again. And now I know why the drive thru was so busy. At least that still works. When i arrived, a lady had ordered via the app at home. My order took about 20 minutes to get sorted out. A bucket of chicken, dunked wings and 2 cones. The poor app lady was still waiting for her order when i finally escaped.
My burger had dirt on it.
The manager didn't care
I had to fight with then until I got answers.
Worst KFC in south africa
It now makes 3 times that I've gotten there at 9pm on a weekday and all they've had available was chicken, the service was slow and the staff didn't seem interested in working there.
Unfriendly staff and you always have to double check that your order is complete and correct.
Update 5 January 2023, this branch doesn't have chicken- must be the WORST KFC in the world!
Not great. Went to the drive in and ordered only to be told once I had paid that the food wasn't available. Had my kids in the car and it was not convenient to wait.
This is the worst KFC. Always issues! Ive been here a few times when, wait for it, they had no Chicken.
And service is so slow. Orders often wrong. Manager needs a change.
The menu and service is great, the drive through feels quite fast, especially when considering ending the day and not having to wait.
Biggest downsides are when there's loadshedding, sometimes the generator helps, but other times, especially if it's prolonged and affects water, results in a shutdown. Understandable but also frustrating when unexpected.
Two hours on a delivery. Unable to reach the store or get any assistance.
Douglasdale KFC strikes again. Now the excitement of waiting for my cold food to arrive.
All staff in the kitchen area, no one at the tills to serve. Chicken was raw and was charged more for a meal than advertised. Staff not welcoming nor friendly.
Food is ok but you need to check if they packed all you paid for.in our case 2 regular chips havent been packed, which we only discovered at home.
@KFC we didnt keep the receipt as was not worth the petrol nor the time to go back to complain
I usually drive 5 km to the other ones around the area despite living 1 km from this one. Today I decided to give them a second chance. Now I know why I avoid this kfc. Food always tastes like it's been cooked in reused oil like crunchy cardboard. The walk in order took 20 minutes to process despite only 3 people waiting inside. Pathetic.
Still without doubt the slowest KFC, noting wrong with the food, just expect to wait, doesn't seem to matter when you go, there is always a wait
Pls teach your staff manners. Shocked how bad customer service is here. The R2 you add on for charity. Ask 1st! That's stealing. I applaud you for collecting, but it's a choice.
The chicken is super oily and the skin falls off easily. There was clearly no effort into making my meal. This should be a zero star review. Do not recommend this KFC
