KFC Kyalami Downs

It’s a hit or miss with KFC. If you lucky, hot and fresh, but mostly warm. Zinger chicken needs more zing, very little zing from when they brought it out. I still can’t understand how they can sell a burned, soggy chicken to any customer. Surely they know what is expected from the customer. My last order, pics included, shows that my zinger burger with zinger sauce, had no zinger sauce and was almost cold. I collected and it was a 7 min drive home. Like I said, sometimes you get hot and fresh. Guster, the manager did offer to give me the zinger sauce the next day, because they were closing, but we didn’t think it would be needed without the burgers the next day.

Standard KFC nothing special. Food is good and fresh. But the service is shocking! Twice now have had to leave because they don't have chicken, yes you read that right. They don't want to make more and have leftovers, because then the staff must pay for it, allegedly.

The zinger wings are probably the best I've had in JHB. Service was also good and pretty quick.

Went in and was told after waiting in line that their card machine was not working.absolutely pathetic.

Not my favourite centre. Access in and out of the centre remains a problem and the speed bumps are very awkward. Shops there tend to come and go, and the only shop I frequent there now, is the very average Pick 'n Pay.

First time I have ever eaten KFC that reminded me of my childhood memories, the chicken was well prepared

For some reason the staff seem to prioritise drive Uber and Mr. D orders as I've waited for 10 or so minutes at the front of the queue before getting any service. Judging from how fast they have to do thing it seems that they are understaffed. Food is good and the restaurant is clean. Gets 3 stars not because of the staff bit because of the lack of them, please employ more people at peak times!

Friendly efficient service and ample parking. I did a big order and the staffs assistance was beyond helpful

This KFC outlet prides themselves on good customer service as I have never been disappointed with anything on all my visits there. The staff are very friendly and always assist with a smile.

We had a very pleasant dinner. The service was exceptionally friendly and it was a lovely ambience.

Pictures Copyright blackjohannes. A KFC with a massive sign, situated close to Kyalami. It is supposed to be a convenient stop. At night the area is scary. It is dark in the parking lot and it doesn't feel safe. You would think driving all the way to KFC should mean that KFC has all the stock available. So it was disappointing to find yet another KFC who did not bother to make "pap", yes porridge with gravy, which you can order with a Streetwise 2 or 3. KFC is probably the most popular franchise in South Africa, but they sometimes lack the basics. This KFC is not the best one to visit and a waste of time and money.

I get good service and food quality from here most of the time except the few occassions I have had inconsistencies on the product delivery/quality of my dunked wings.

At first I thought the stuff was friendly. Wow. To my surprise today I got the worst service. Cold food, rude stuff, under cooked meat, stale chips. Cup dripping wet of cold drink spills. Uhm, it's just a mess

Got to KFC at 18h48, doors were locked however the big sign outside showed the operating hours where 07h00am to 07h00pm.

They refused to open the doors and where there at least 6 very upset customers waiting outside and turned down. There were still customers inside KFC. Really disappointed in
you guts.

Looks like they are on skeleton staffing, but friendly staff are coping well. Always a happy face at their windows.

Amazing experience here. I have been to this KFC many times and most of the time the quality of the food is good and very short time to get the food ready.

Service is really bad.wrong food, staff don't know the product and also don't know how to use the ordering system!

Not the best experience there, food was very oily and didn't get what i ordered, happened twice so wont go back there

Slow again.disorganised, staff under pressure on a Friday lunch. 25minutes to get a take away. Lucky I checked my order, goods missing. Wont back at peak times.

The staff are very kind, although the franchise is quite popular and busy, the workers still work fast and with a smile delegating their business to customer satisfaction.
Usually the Drive Thru is faster and the lady or Male at the window always welcomes you before taking your order and even thanks you for coming.
Very impressed with the hard work produced throughout the busy days.

Their best meals are their Twisters and Crunch burgers as well as their Krushers and their Ice creams. Very fresh although dont let the smell of the oil put you off when you arrive.

Open 24/7 and is in a nice, secure area.
