Standards have dropped terribly recently.

Both service and food are now horrible.

Very sad as Kota Joe used to be a fantastic place to visit.

Now it is just a waste of time and money.

Slight mixup in an order but it was personally handled by Costa. Highly recommend a visit!

Good quality food at excellent prices, wirh an amazing variety. Best Russian and chips in town. The loaded cheese bacon loaded chips is incredible not for the faint hearted.

Absolute worst service I have ever received from a waitress (Busisiwe) She was extremely rude, ignored us when we spoke to her and was not helpful at all. The food may be decent but with service like that I definitely will not be returning.

We really love the place it's nice and service yona top nd funny ppl aswell so if u wanna have gr8 meal go there, it's not really expensive

Great place for a delicious bite of food and tasty desserts! The service is super friendly and as efficient as can be in such popular place. The Waiters work fast and are able to do split bills for large parties, that was the best part about the service for my visit.

The food is delicious, they never miss. There are days it's too busy and dining in service might be slow but the wait is worth it

It is so bad I give it a zero I would love too talk too the boss the manager and staff have a terrible attitude the service is absolutely horrible

Well Done Kota Joe's, not everyone can get it right

One of the few Roadhouses left in our city that still echoes the Friday nights I had with my family growing up, where we would eat at a Roadhouse before we headed to Top Star drive-in.
Everything I have ever ordered off their menu has been a winner! Nice big portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly and efficient waiters. Their onion rings are in a league of their own. You can't go wrong with a Kota, all on the menu is tasty. And my favorite has to be the chicken wrap and the loaded chips.
Honestly speaking.no matter where you live, Kota Joe's in Edenvale is well worth the trip. If you're looking for somewhere different to take your date, friends or family - this is the place.
The food, music, vibe, service is all worth it! Sit in your car or sit in their diner with your family. You will not be disappointed!

Great menu, kasi meets suburban vibes menu. Order to take out or sit in and enjoy your meal or shakes. I really love their shakes - they've got a little Milkshake special on Wednesday @ R30 for 2 (as of the 29th Dec 2021).

Awesome roadhouse with scrumptious food. You can either order from your car or dine inside. They make the most decadently delicious milo milkshakes. Pure nostalgia.

Had the Jozi Kota and the ribs. Jozi Kota was really good but the Ribs were on another level. Just wish there were more of these stores in the rest of Joburg

I'd say an open, all black, tarred road house attracts alot of heat and could do with a shade net or something in the sweltering summer heat. Not pleasant when waiting for food. But the crispy chicken wraps are delicious!

I have never seen anything like it before. Dope Concept and the food is delicious. I enjoyed, literally every bite.

Awesome Milkshakes, but the 40-60min wait in a boiling hot car is Kak. I guess the only option is going inside and sitting down if you plan on cooling off with a milkshake.
