La Parada

So, I popped into Laparada tonight because I needed a spot to work (thanks, LS). First off, let me just say – the food? Delicious. And the pineapple tequila was top-notch. But, that's where the good stuff kind of ended.

Honestly, the service was a bit of a downer. I mean, there were times when my glass was empty for what felt like ages, like 20 minutes or so. And right now, as I'm writing this, I finished my meal a good 15 minutes ago and my glass is still sitting here empty. I had to keep flagging down the waiter, which was a bit annoying, especially since I was trying to get some work done.

It kind of felt like they weren’t really taking me seriously, you know? Like I was just left hanging, having to shout across the room to get some attention. Not exactly what I was hoping for when I came in.

I get that places get busy , but still, you expect a bit more, right? I was really hoping for a chill place to work and enjoy a meal, but it wasn't quite the vibe. The food was great, sure, but with the service not really hitting the mark, I'm not sure I'd come back.

Just wanted to share my two cents. Hope they step up the service game because the kitchen’s definitely doing something right!

The food was absolutely delicious, and all the staff is very friendly, the music in the background was nice & soft that one could have great conversation and I found the esthetic of the restaurant as a whole very calming.

A cute brunch spot, what I enjoyed much about this La Parada was the service and that it's not busy as the other ones I've been to, it's giving real housewives vibes. My waiter Lehutso, an absolute delight, she was patient when I didn't know what to have and suggested I see specials on this QR code. Thank you and I'll sure be back

I felt like I was having lunch in a trendy spot in Cape Town- and every dish was superb! Our waitress Ayanda was so special too. Can’t wait to come back!

Bheki was an amazing waiting to us. All stuff have always been good to us. We work in the area and we always have our afternoon drink and drinks there. They have the best taps menus ever! You can share with your friends and colleagues.

I know this sounds to good to be true but me and all my colleagues like a good time and good and Alcohol and good service.

If I was to speak about the manager I would never be able to finish in this one review. He’s amazing! Don’t lose that man.

Lovely restaurant and the ambiance is great. Food portions are small and pricey, not sure if it's the covid after effects as it is with most places lately.

Good. Reservation process smooth, reception good, seating good, food good, service good. Wine was warm when brought to the table but that was fixed with an ice bucket. Repeatable experience.

La Parda is a fantastic Spanish-inspired tapas restaurant located in Parkmore Sandton.

The atmosphere is lively and fun, with great Latin music playing in the background. The live DJ on Saturdays is slightly too loud for me. Spacious and comfortable seating throughout the restaurant. With a great covered patio area.

The cocktails were delicious. The service is also top-notch - the staff are friendly and with an attentive manager.

Overall, I will recommend La Parda for anyone looking for a great dining experience with a Latin twist.

Bona ka setho we say rea leboha. Thank you staff you served us well on the 27th of January a birthday party ya Salimah Valiani by Phumi Mtetwa. The food was on point-perfect for me a food connoisseur. We thank the chef/chef bona le di bosso yerrr! We were well taken care of. We don't get easely moved by music except on that Friday the DJ Marco was exceptionally beautiful his choice of music made medance my heart out. Kea leboha rea leboha every thing was beautiful! Till we return once again for another birthday.

Beautiful venue! First time we went I had the Ribeye which was delicious. Second time I had the Lamb Rump which was equally yummylicious. Was pricey but worth it. Will definitely go back again. ️
