La Parada Irene Village

Very quiet place, the music was pleasantly soft. Opted for the chicken wings for starters while a friend had the grilled calamari , both delicious. The prawn pasta for mains was filling, a commendable selection. The pricing is also quite reasonable. Interesting that their bathrooms are gender neutral.

Had a great experience. Thaki the manager and Nomsa went out of their way to make our experience memorable.

Popped in here for the first time today, it's a lovely place, decor and energy is great, food was good, not great though, my aubergine dish was excellent but my wife's prawn dish was so so, smallest prawns I've ever seen, a place like O Peri Peri's pawns are 3 out 4 times larger and tastier. The other dishes were really good though, service was also friendly and efficient.

Place also has funky vibes, nice to sit and chill there for an extended time.

What an incredible location and venue EXCEPT the service is slow, food is cold and the kitchen staff are so loud. They are too busy chatting and laughing to get the food out in time.
There was another table who was complaining about the same this. This is Saturday morning with a few tables. Quite unfortunate.

Wow, definitely 5 stars for our first time visit. We are highly impressed with the tapas and cocktails. We ordered the Truffle Potato skins, Tuna tacos and the pork belly Boa Buns, with a couple of their signature cocktails. It was really flavourful and well worth the money. Our waitress, Prudence, was very friendly and attentive, with excellent service delivery. Can’t wait to explore more of the menu next time

What a let down. The service was half baked and the food was such a let down.
I expected good quality, balanced meals, especially at the price point. All the dishes were doused in garlic (without being mentioned on the menu). We ordered the potato skins with truffle oil (GARLIC), then we ordered 5 tapas dishes to share and taste a big part of the tapas menu. The star of it was the deep fried miso aubergine (even though it was soggy, it tasted good). Pork belly, popper, bikini toastie, were all a 3/10 at best (AND GARLIC). So much garlic, our pallets were numb at the end of the meal.
The biggest let down was the tuna tacos. Hardly had any tuna, and it was flavourless, so bland! If you want taco's, go to Salsa.

For a meal of R600 per person, we will most definitely not visit any of the La Parada's again.

I was served by Zandile and she had the best service! She was warm and extremely friendly. Love her completely and next I’m here, I’d only like her to serve me!

Food was HORRIBLE! I had prawn pasta, and it arrived cold. The Prawn wasn't even taken out of its skin, and it wasn't properly cooked. The service wasn't the greatest. The waiter didn't come to check if we were ok or needed our drinks refilled. Not to mention it is also a bit expensive but that's because it's supposed to be a fancy restaurant

Thaki was so nice and efficient always checking up with clients. Great service and food was amazing

Thaki and magalies gave a wonderful service. The place is friendly and the food taste wonderful.

Wow, I'm so impressed with this restaurant. The vibe and the flaming sushi was amazing. I enjoyed the music. Jonga yon'kinto was perfect. I was served by Sbusiso and I will for sure ask for her on my next visit.

Food was delicious as expected however I got disappointed when my Sushi did not burn. However Thaki the manager was a great host
