The PERFECT place for bridal showers, baby showers and other events in Gauteng. They handle the decor and food for you and everything is done impeccably. I’ve hosted two events here and they were both incredible.

What a lovely venue for functions, staff are very pleasant and helpful, I can definitely recommend it as a very relaxing venue.

The food was amazing! Had a great ladies high tea here and Sunday lunch recently - definitely recommend

We had a wonderful time hosting a bridal shower in the garden venu. I would choose this venu again in a heartbeat. The staff and owner was so wonderful from day one and made us feel special. Everything was excellent from the decor to the food. Thank you for a wonderful event and day.

My review used to be 5 stars but this resturaunt took a knock for the worst.

The service is just all around always bad. We were waiting 15 min just to get a waiter, we had to seat ourselves.
They completely removed pizza from the menu, which is the biggest reason why we came here.
Also almost couldn't get breakfast either because it was 11: 25 and they stop serving breakfast after 11: 30. Without the breakfast and pizza menu, the resturaunt has a very barebones menu if you come at 12.
My red meat from the big Ben breakfast was undercooked. I asked for tomato sauce and was simply told they don't have anymore. The waiter didn't apologize or offer a different option. Food takes a good 30-50 minutes.
The waiter wasn't quick at all, nor was he friendly.
They are clearly relying on the functions they get because of the beautiful plot.

Our family enjoyed a Sunday lunch at La vie Lente Bistro and all of us were pleasantly surprised. All our food was deliciously prepared and presented with much care. This was our first time to visit La vie Lente and we will definitely return for a second visit.

Great service, wonderful place for a family gathering, wedding reception, twenty-first birthday party. Good food.

The venue was beautiful held my sisters baby shower. I was disappointed by the food and service provided to us which made our guests a little uncomfortable but overall it's a beautiful place for functions

. The devil is in the detail. In our search for a venue to host a Bridal Shower, La Vie Lente was the first venue we contacted and subsequently visited to discuss details. We ordered cake and coffee/tea while we waited to see the Manager/Owner, she was running late. The cake arrived without a serviette in sight, was dry, but we ate it because of the price charged. The staff were unattentive, as it seems is the norm these days. The cleanliness is not up to scratch, and things just seemed discombobulated.needless to say we cancelled and requested the deposit to be refunded.

It is a beautiful venue and a good choice if you want to enjoy your meal under the trees. We had a picnic basket and the food was absolutely superb! There was a huge variety of finger foods served with a lovely fresh salad, cake and brownies as well as a cheese and a fruit platter. The service was really good and our waiter was very relaxed and super helpful.

The service was absolutely amazing! Exceeded every expectation! The staff! Everybody Everything was perfect!

The food at La Vie Lente is excellent and very reasonably priced. We had a great afternoon with our year end lunch and everyone enjoyed the food. The venue is beautiful, elegant and great ambiance. Wine and cocktails are great and also reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone.

Only thing I can say is the service was a bit slow and the cheesecake was a little bit burned and much smaller than the last time. This was more of a tart where last time it was a proper piece of cake. So I think they should be consistent with the size of servings.

Other than that it's a great restaurant and venue!

Die lokation ist wunderschön, ländlich und weg von Stadt, mit sehr schönem Garten und Ausblick, sehr schöne Dekoration. Man kam hier sehr bequem setzen, service ist sehr nett und bemüht.
Das essen ist meiner Meinung nach durchschnittlich, das t none war durch obwohl wir Medium verlangt haben und eine Seite sehr sehr zeh. Diese Hälfte habe ich gar nicht gegessen. T none ist mit mehrere Gewürze, allerdings bin ich ein Fan wenn es um gutes Fleisch geht, kaum
Gewürz ist notwendig.
Der mariachis (passion Früchte) Kuchen war geschmacklos und haben das Stück gar nicht zu Ende gegessen.
Echt schade weil due lokation sehr schön ist, muss die Küche sich anstrengen und entsprechende Qualität lieferten.
Preise sind in Ordnung.
Ich wünsche mir, dieses Feedback zum Herzen zu nehmen und implementieren, dann kommen wir gerne wieder und empfehle es auch!

One of a kind Venue hire and restaurant open to the general public. Various different venue rooms to choose from. Ideal for weddings, baby showers, parties etc.
The food was farmstyle, hearty and quality meat.

I wouldn't suggest you wear point heels, if the grass is wet, they will stain or dig into the ground

Absolutely love this place it's a true beauty, food is out of this world service from friendly staff members and the Tequila is always Cold! Would highly recommend this if you want to do birthdays, weddings babyshowers or year end functions!

Nice and peaceful venue with fantastic food. Very relaxing to sit in the shade of the big trees enjoying a freshly brewed cappuchino. Also very affordable with generous portions

I passed by and decided to see if they had cheesecake.it was delicious I sat outside in the tree filled garden which had a laid back atmosphere, very pleasant. There's a large stoep and an area for the kids to play. Friendly staff and a menu I would have to come back for

Hidden (or maybe not so much anymore) gem in Gauteng. Moment you enter, I have to give credit to parking lot guy, smiling and looking just happy makes u feel better. Service was spot on, the manager lady seemed really liking her job (rare), gentleman waiter was nice and polite and he knew his thing a provided them with smilen charm. Very very good wine selection (try to offer some pairing maybe) food We just 10/10. That pulled pork burger was a treat. Great variety of soups (1l takeaway as possibility-great ideal). Yes, you have to wait bit longer, but understand, it's not KFC and you will get FRESH great food. We ll be back soon
