63Trying to log a return; sent a couple of emails - NO FEEDBACK from MAKRO. This morning I received an email that I need to rate the support I received from Sthembiso Sibiya! Mr Sibiya, nor anyone else from MAKRO responded to my emails or attempted to make contact! HOW DO YOU RATE NON EXISTENT SERVICE?
I purchased product online and my order was canceled 7 days later. After calling them they then told me they was a pricing error. All I need is my products.
Placed order 1 week ago. The seller packed the items 4 days ago. Still not sent. Contacted Makro daily since Tueday 4 days ago, they will come back to me. Nothing No order no contact

DISGUSTED! 13 DAYS LATER NO PRODUCT REFUND of R6999
I am disgusted in their service. A order was placed and cancelled on 1st of December. My package was still delivered on 6 December. I asked the courier to send it back. I have still not yet recieved my refund! NO updates or feedback at all.
The customer service tells me the situation is escalated yet there has been no progress!
Makro must be going under if they have to steal money off of customers accounts. I've been fighting for three weeks to get the money that was taken off of my account, amounting to almost R3000 refunded. They took off a dulicate amount and R1700 for an order that wasn't even processed. Incompetent bunch of clowns. I will badmouth Makro at every opportunity!
STOP PROMITING IMPORTED MATCHES SA MAKES ITS OWN
Went shopping at this Makro branch this morning and was so disappointed that that 2 of their promotional items - matches and biscuits - were imported and the 1st thing the promotions staff told me that was the fact that these were imported items. Correct me if I am wrong but, wasn't
one of Massmart's promises when they came into SA the fact they were going to procure goods locally? Why on earth then are their matches and biscuits imported? Surely South Africa can and does produce these goods? Furthermore, why on earth would the promotions staff think that saying items are imported will encourage customers to buy them? Very disappointed and a bit annoyed.
Makro seems to have only one store! Makro decides to cancel what ever they want on the order without contacting the customer about the items. Thanx you Makro for proving to customers that your not so reliable as you think you are. Keep it up - your surely going to lose a lot of customers this way. This is not the first time I have a problem with Makro. Always so sorry but NO IMPROVEMENT!
Bought a washing machine and dryer on the website, almost 2 months ago. Items where never delivered, still waiting for refund since the items are currently out of stock on the website.super disappointed.
Oh dear, this is absolutely dreadful reading all these bad reviews. I wish I had looked at this before I placed an order which I returned 10/018/23. Despite daily telephone calls, emails and online chat, absolutely no refund or resolve in the awful situation. Very disappointing Makro!
Absolute waste of time buying anything from them, the level of customer service, or lack thereof, you get is the worst I've ever received in my life. Even if they are cheaper, it isn't worth the time or effort it will take to get your order after you've paid. 3 weeks later, after my purchase indicating a turn around time of 2 - 5 days, and I have no feedback (after being promised numerous times that I would be contacted) and I don't have my items. 4 HelloPeter complaints but they don't seem bothered by that so I'm having to go a different route. Out of pocket and no product.
We ordered In May some items were delivered on the 1st of June 2023. Somewhere between Makro and Our premises someone stole our 27 x 6 x 1l milk which have been paid for in full, its been 2 weeks of constantly phoning and no one has answers! You have the worst customer service its truly pathetic. One star rating is too much as you deserve nothing for this poor service delivery.
I held on for about 40min for the call-centre to find out if one of the stores in the Cape Metropole has a product we require - I eventually gave up. Then I tried to contact the Massmart call-centre to complain and held on for about another 10min and gave up there too. The fact that you cant call a specific store to find out what they have and you're forced to contact a call-centre that doesn't answer is pathetic!
If you can’t manage online ordering then don’t offer it. Over a week later I’m still waiting for an order because their stores are so badly stocked you’re forced to order online. They tried to deliver at 7pm to a retail store, don’t bother to call and see if the store is open, don’t bother to arrange a suitable time. Just send it to a store 40mins away and tell the customer to collect it. What a joke of a company.

I have been trying to getting hold of someone that can sort out a way over due delivery but no one answers the phones and no one responds to emails. It's ridiculous
I purchased a dishwasher from Makro Germiston /Edenvale approximately 1 month ago.
When I unboxed it I discovered it was dented and scratched on the side.
I immediately called to report it and provided photos of the damage.
It's been a month now!

Makro Edenvale, left several messages and was told someone would call me back but no one ever did.

This is the most pathetic service I've ever had!
Ordered online, Site advised 2-5 days delivery. Day 4, still hasnt been handed to the courier yet. Try to call the number provided numerous times and decided to hang up after 30min. Try to email and just get a response saying they will respond as they are receiving a lot of emails.
Not happy with service from makro crown mines.
I bought appliances on the 23 November delivery only happen today. 1 of my item was sold to another custormer.
This is poor customer service
Ordered and paid for items online for over R10000 on 1 December - not delivered as promised - never delivered - refund requested many times 30 December - still not refunded - disgusting service from Makro - will never again order online from them
Don't buy ANYTHING ONLINE from Makro! Most likely, your order won't be delivered, and you can't even get hold of them on the phone.
