19 Dr Jean Du Plessis did not inform me of the outcome of a urine test which showed that I had developed resistance to some antibiotics. This is sloppy and irresponsible behavior. A phone call would have sufficed. I will never go to him again.
Dr Jimmy John prescribed antibiotics for a sinus allergy. I did indicate to him that I use antibiotics often for UTI and would prefer not to take it unless it was necessary. His response seemed pathetic and lazy. I will never use him again. Poor medical advice.
Dr Kathrada is thorough and fantastic.
First time visitor doctors are great your admin staff lacks customers service and professionalism they eagerly competing to give same service as state hospital you can stop trying so hard you are already on that level
If you're looking for a doctor that actually listens and cares, then Dr. Donny Fick is your man. As a sickly family, we have seen our fair share of doctors. No GP has ever taken the care as this doctor has. He hardly ever runs late, which shows how much he cares about his patients.
The one star is for the amazing doctors (they are very good). The lack of additional stars is for the unprofessional accounting team. Here is the reason why.
My mother received a call today demanding payment for a bill that she had no idea about and did not receive notice about. Apparently for around R200 for an appointment over six months ago. She is the type to settle all bills prior to leaving the doctors room and was told she had no additional payment, as the medical aid has paid. Now she receives this ridiculous phone call demanding payment, with no statement ever received. After a lot of fighting she only received the statement today, which should have been given immediately after the appointment. Why only six months later? This is so unprofessional and underhanded. From now on statements should be given immediately at the end of a consult. This practice is not the first time to happend with the statement. It is absolutely disgusting.
Good, professional, friendly medical team. Easy to book appointments online. Reception staff ok. Nice, clean facility. Would definitely recommend. In fact, I drive there all the way from the south of Johannesburg.
Correct you opening hours, currently is says you are open 07h50 but when you call one gets a massage you are closed
Check your bills carefully, they will charge you for visits and when you play not reflect the payment. They have been unable to prove where my credit with them came from and then handed me over to a collector.
The staff are rude and unhelpful, they have made bookings wrong dates on numerous occasions then want to charge you when you don't show up.
I was a patient here for 10 years and can recommend some of the Drs but can not recommend the facility, they will steal your money.
Worse staff ever: they are rude, inefficient, they look like they rather work elsewhere: incredibly unfriendly and dumb.
Dr Fick and Dr Kathrada are friendly and professional, im not sure about the others. If they are off, i will wait until they come back. Im not sure about receptionists, i've never seen their smile.
Been going here 25 years. But lately they are rubbish. They say a fish rots from the head and I put the blame on the practise manager and management team, not taking accountability or apologizing when my file was lost by a new member of the team, who didn't seem to be helped by colleagues, but was blamed instead. R500 for a doctor to fill in some paperwork for me that could have been solved with a phone call. You've lost my business and it makes me sad.
You make an appointment then sit and wait for an hour and a half! You won't see me again. Pathetic beyond compare
I have been coming here for 20 years, but the service from the admin side has become progressively worse to the point where I have started going to a different provider.
The doctors are good but the reception and admin staff make the whole experience an unpleasant chore.
Worst service staff ever.been going to this practice for 20years and im fedup with the bad service, the reception staff gets worse by the year. Unfriendly, unhelpful, disrespectful and dispassionate.please save yourself the trip and go somewhere else
The managing pactioner and Dr fick are wonderful examples health care professional, keep up the amazing work
I had a consultation with Dr Korro. He was great - friendly and personable. My interaction with the ladies at reception was a bit awkward, not sure if it was me, but a couple of them were not very welcoming. So in summary, doctor was great and front desk staff not so great.
FYI, consult fee was R530.
The doctors are really great and helpful but the reception staff are rude and abrupt and difficult to deal with. They don't follow up with requests and trying to leave a message for a doctor never gets delivered unless you constantly follow up with them wasting your own time.
The Dr.couldn't give proper diagnosis and couldn't answer simple questions, just deflected away from what I was asking. But was quick to take the money. 1 star is being kind.
My colleague went to see a doctor because she has gasto and migraines and wanted an honest opinion, and got told she is an angry woman and is a victim of inequality and at the bottom of the system? ! Seriously, she’s paying for a medical consult not a politics lesson. She left without being helped! Never going there again
