Had a womans day breakfast with 4 beautiful woman. They enjoyed the whole experience. Breakfast, service from friendly staff was top class. Antiqueties and decor helped to make it a perfect day!

I would rate it less but I cant. They never even came to take our order. Off to another place.

Lovely outing yesterday with 10 members of our motorcycle club. We arrived unannounced and things were very quickly set up for a large outside table under the trees. Service was a bit slow (to be expected when a large group suddenly arrives!) but the food was great, inexpensive and the staff were super friendly. This is a little gem of a place and is nice and quiet unlike the more popular brewery down the road.

Was not impress with cake and coffee. You cant ask the same price then another restaurant that will give you a proper piece of cake and also better.

Arty and eclectic place. Good food and interesting setting. After breakfast have a look around the book store and antique shop.

We stumbled onto MelonRouge on our way to another restaurant in the area. Great little place that was quiet, away from the mad rush. We sat outside in the lovely garden area and had a superb value for money lunch, delivered with a smile and great service. Will definitely return.

Food is not impressive. The waiter does not know the menu. Lasagna.this is certainly not lasagna, sorry

Nice place with antique art stuff on minimal rates. Nice restaurant nearby and scenic beauty is all around the place.

A really lovely little coffee shop and very attentive and friendly service. There's also an antique, vintage clothing and book shop.

Great for a weekend day out with the family. No haute cuisine but excellent pies, snacks, salads, vegan and cake. Antiques, vintage clothing and books as well.

Shared lunch here with family on Sunday, 21/7. Although the place looks a bit scrappy on the surface, the service was quick and very friendly. We had Greek salad and the Bobotie. The Bobotie was steaming hot, fragrant and absolutely delicious. A over-generous helping served, so we asked for take-away containers. Would be good to see these containers be eco-friendly, instead of using polystyrene containers.
Overall, a truly peaceful and lovely experience. Our server ensures that our experience was a very pleasant one.
Also suggest perhaps a livelier accompaniment of music. Lovely young man playing the guitar and singing - repertoire a little dreary and dark for a Sunday afternoon.

A real gem of a place where art, antiques, old books, clothes and great coffee and treats take you into a world of fantasy, amidst tranquil trees.
