Marina, we don't know how to say thank you enough. What an amazing experience! Marina read our minds, our decor, food, and the love we were treated with was all so special next level, and they are true to their word. They do more than expected and all with understanding and love. Thank you, Meraki Funtion Veneu. You made our wedding day perfect!

Meraki Function Venue is truly one of the best experiences I have had. The team was very helpful and very friendly! I would 100% recommend them to any Bride and Groom planning their big day. The food and service is top class.

At first the venue look lovely until we went inside to wait for the bride and groom and had to use the toilet, it was small corrugated iron toilet the door doesn't close properly if you sit on the toilet you can see the people outside, hopefully the people outside couldn't see me inside.

Second the food (snacks) they gave us to eat when the groom and bride when to take the photos was dry and not enough for the number of guests. That spread was enough for about maybe 40 people NOT 90+! There were more decorations on the table then food.

The main course terrible terrible terrible terrible! The rice was under cooked NO Gravy, also we did not get what was on the menu. 50% of the guests had to go home and buy food elsewhere. (Venues excuse the curry chicken was rotten or something wrong with so they couldn't serve it)

Both of my daughters are full of bite marks from waiting in The Bridal Room I don't know what kind of bug bit them but I recommend, fumigate that place before letting other people in there again.

Now I hear they wanna keep my brother's deposit for guest that didn't behave properly not not for any damages but for guests that didn't behave properly.

I feel bad for my brother and new sister-in-law for the way the stuff of the venue is treating them now.

If you are looking for a place, away from the noise of the city, with a beautiful and peaceful view, and which is really affordable, with some of the best food I have ever eaten, Meraki is the place for you! The times we've been to Meraki, we've walked away satisfied every time. It's a beautiful place, and it's really family friendly. The owner and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease, and they have your best interests at heart. Music played ensures that from the youngest to the oldest can enjoy themselves. Then I'm not even talking about the fantastic photographer. I will certainly use your services again. And recommend you to everyone I know who wants to celebrate special occasions. Thank you for your friendly and good service. You guys are tops. May your beautiful venue continue to grow, so that for many more years you can make people's special moments come true for them, and that they can also say, "I had the privilege of being able to have Meraki, and their friendly staff, my special memories, capture, and be able to share".

There is no hot water to shower for bride. We hated curry chicken on menu and it was not served, no sauces for your rice. If you ask for more plates to put cake in for your guests, they say the kitchen is closed. Complain about the kids who chance? ! Our deposit does not want to be paid back because there were too many guests which is not true. I would not recommend the venue to anyone

I fell while the staff was watching and no one helped or did anything, they cleaned up afterwards but before that their staff walked in and out without cleaning up.

I hurt my knee and no one came to ask if I was Ok.

Plus the food was awful! This was the most terrible wedding venue under the sun!

And the fact that they have a million stories to pay the deposit back, blows my mind how SKELM this people is!

There was absolutely no hot water for the bride to shower in the dressing room. One of the flower girls had to shower in ice cold water.it took us driving for the bride to at least have a bath.

There were fleas in the room too. The bride as well as flower girls were full of bite marks. I would suggest that you fumigate the place and make sure there is at least hot water for the bride for the next wedding.

The food was also something terrible. Everything that was served was dried out from the finger food outside to the food that was served.

Not too bad. Could cut bushes and trees clear off path. Wasn't nearly enough dustbins. Whoever ran the bar. There wasn't enough beer or anything cold to drink in the heat. You had to drink whatever was available.

It's an amazing venue! Had my sisters baby shower and my brother's in-laws doeke braai! The food is amazing! Setting is amazing! Staff was amazing! I will highly recommend it!

A little bit isolated and about 1km dirt road but they a guard which is great. Very spacious and gives that fresh farm feeling. Overall great venue.

Staff always friendly and willing to help, the food is amazing and the atmosphere with the setting allows guest to feel at home and relaxed

I love taking my photos here for my photography page. This venue has a nice bushveld just to relax and escape from the busy city life

We did wedding video and photos there recently. It is a really nice venue, neat gardens, very nice reception venue and chapel.

The reception venue gets really dark at night but overall a good wedding venue.

Our wedding was special! The venue itself has this magical feeling to it in the evening, the food was mouth-watering, and the staff at the venue was friendly and delivered a great service from the planning of the wedding right up to the end. Highly recommended!

Very nice venue if you want a decent sized place with a outbackish look.can take about 100 people and staff is very helpful
