Molitva Orthodox Mediterranean Restaurant

I do not give 5 stars lightly but this restaurant was worth it. The food was delicious and the music equally good. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and the waiters were attentive and knowledgeable. I recommend this place 100%.

It was my first time there with my hubby and a couple friends. From the warm welcome at arrival to the end, I've got to say, it was the best experience in a long time! The atmosphere was amazing and the food blew us away. Have to try the different Serbian starters.and the fresh fish (i had the sea bass) was like it was caught and prepared on the same day.it's that fresh! The flavours were amazing!

We had an incredible and unexpected experience at this Mediterranean restaurant. The food was delicious, fresh, and a delight for seafood lovers.

Best restaurant Ive ever been to, waiters are nice and very collaborative. The food was very very nice. I will definitely visit it again.

Loved the place! Its right in nature forcing you to pause and connect with your loved ones. The food was amazing too! Best line fish I've had! Definitely going back and taking my family there.

The food has a strong Serbian influence, with traditional items such as Cevapi and Ajvar making an appearance on the menu. We ordered the crab curry, which burst with flavour. The sauce was delicate and creamy and make you feel like you are sitting on an island eating it. The ribs fell of the bone and was deliciously sticky, served with hand cut crispy chips.

The cocktails are also worth mentioning, they use real strawberries for their daiquiris and each cocktail is served in a beautiful glass.

There is a great vibe and we spent a whole afternoon soaking up the Autumn sun out on their stoep. There is no signal and no Wi-Fi, we loved having a tech free lazy lunch and it didn't bug us at all.

Unfortunately, there is no worse rating for a two hour wait for food on Father’s Day. Others come after you and get their food first? Definitely won’t be coming back

I have been to Molitva more than 5 times and have really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. That is why I went again for fathers day. I was disappointed because the service was so poor. I take it the restaurant would be prepared for a day like father's day. But no. My favorite hummus sauce which I always order when I am there was not up to scratch and to top it all the tip was already added on the bill. How are you supposed to show that you are not happy when you have a tip added automatically. I think this does not motivate the waiters to do a proper job

Just an amazing place lots of fun activities for the kiddos too- but bring cash for the painting and face painting also a fun jumping castle too

Good spot. Nice ambience. Decent food. I would just raise the nappy changing station because it's so low one would break your back in there.

It is a beautiful setting but the food and service is quite average and expensive. Personally I think they can do better.

Setting is beautiful. A bit of a walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. Jumping castle and painting were available for the kids.

Dips from the meze were really tasty but the mains were fairly average. Prices on the high side.

Service was also available average.

The setting is really nice. Food is good. Best part is the pick your own organic veggies and herbs.

Incredible drive out from the city, amazing ambience.food and service must improve!

Indeed, this is a hidden gem in the middle of the cradle. They offered one of the unique dishes that your typical restaurants. One of them, the Serbian sausage and the Cevape. In both of dishes, the flavours were pretty well balanced. I enjoyed their breakfast and the calamari as well. The farm and scenery was great. Service was excellent and the owner was pretty friendly as well.

Finally got the chance to visit Molitva. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff.delicious meals. Will definitely visit again

The starters were delicious, but the mains were such a let down. For the scenic drive - this place is underwhelming.
It is also overpriced.

Amazing food. Octopus and whole grilled fish of the charts. Mediterranean food at its best, however authentic Mozambique peri peri chicken 8s always a winner. Great environment. Worthwhile experience.

The waiter that serves us there did not seem to want to be there nor serve us at all so we decided to get a take away and not eat in such an unwelcoming space.

The chicken was great but the bolognaise was so dry and plain, hardly any bolognaise, just pasta. Really disappointed! I know this place could do better.
