Situated within a nursery, this restaurant is a charming establishment perfect for families with young children, thanks to its fantastic kids' play area. While the food is decent but not exceptional, the pricing is quite reasonable. The service, on the other hand, is outstanding, with staff consistently going the extra mile to ensure your comfort. Their warm and caring demeanor adds to the overall pleasant experience, making it a preferred choice for our church gatherings.

Great service and excellent quality food.

Best place to bring your kids. There is a massive outdoor jungle gym and play area. Kids can make their own pizza's at the wood fired pizza oven.

The venue was lovely for the baby shower I attended. The food was good but the waitrons were outstanding. I would host a small party here based on my experience on Saturday.

Have been frequenting this eatery, weekly, with three friends for about three years. Staff are friendly, food is good, environment is pleasant. However. R62 for a cafe mocha is a rip off! Happy to pay for a good cuppa, but being ripped off is not ok. Seriously, an increase of R20 odd on a coffee? No thanks. Will make an alternate plan. More expensive than Tasha's.

Lovely location in the nursery with all the plants, good service, and good food. I like it for a quiet afternoon or quick catch-up with friends.

We have visited Munch Café several times over the years after a trip to the pet store next door. Most recently, we popped in on Women’s Day. The staff are always friendly and the service is relatively swift. The food portions are more than enough and the quality of the food served is good.
They have a little pop-up bookstore selling second hand books for an animal rescue organisation.
A great place to take along your pets for an outdoor area to enjoy the garden centre plants and Johannesburg sunshine.

Walk straight through the restaurant for a little while to find the jungle gym for smaller kids. We only stumbled across it at the end. That part had less shade though so it was less comfortable than the main restaurant.

I've never been disappointed with this branch of Munch which is set in a lovely relaxed garden setting with friendly, efficient staff. Food is really good and portions are generous.

Was a nice setting, service was average, coffee was good, food tasted ok, presentation was average.

Really pleasant, lovely jungle gyms (smaller one for younger kids and a really big one) food and service great. Pet shop also a treat for kids.

After 8k walk, it was lovely to sit in the shade with ice-cold water, then had great hot cuppaccinos, with brkfst.scrambled egg bacon & cheese croissant (without croissant no gluten free bread), 'shrooms on toast, avo & poached eggs on rye-toast, bacon & cheese on toast.all hot & delicious.

Our breakfast was a bit disappointing this morning: the scrambled eggs were over-cooked and the toast was hard. Lovely setting and friendly staff.

Nice outdoor shady seating under a magnificent white stinkwood, but the food is pretty average.

A gem. Finally somewhere nearby where you can get a good eggs Benedict without being bankrupt afterwards. Great restaurant.
