Mustang Sally's Pub & Diner reviews
31 Oh you did it again!
Whoah your Milkshakes and saucy chips are the best! All your food.
Always fun to come out here
Great place the service was fantastic only negative was having to wait outside cos d place full
Mustang Sally’s is your true American style diner and an absolute must see. They will not let you down.
The decor is amazing, such attention to detail! There’s nothing NOT to love, from the moment you walk in. Route 66 memorabilia, Marilyn Monroe posters, jukebox, they have it all.
The burgers are oversized and tasty, the cocktails are the best I’ve had. While they are expensive, their size and presentation is well worth it. I couldn’t stop looking at the variety of food from the kitchen and the surprises that were being delivered from the bar.
The burgers are divine, the chips crispy. The staff are so friendly, making the visit an outing to be remembered.
Well worth the visit!
Food was amazing, atmosphere as always is fun.
Their character milkshakes are always a hit. The food is addordable and alot in quantity. Definitely recommend them
As a first time customer coming, there service was great big ups to Rocquie, the guy very patient, explained everything to detail, humble person.the food was extremely good, we had enjoyed every single second with you guys. Big ups to Rocquie
Last year I Loved this place. The shakes and philly cheese steak was brilliant! Atmosphere was great. Food and hygiene was super awesome. Good music. Great staff.
This year: I was so disappointed. Entirely not the same. The bathrooms are even dirty and smelly. We were 3 people. Southern Fried Chick Burger was good. But cold. The JfK burger was good. But cold. I ordered Mexican BBQ pulled chicken tacos with coriander and pineapple salsa. Also came to the table cold. The BBQ was not BBQ it was overdosed in peri peri portuguese chicken spice mixed with sweet chilli. There was no salsa. The tacos were curled over, as if they'd been frozen and thawed in the microwave.
I left my food. Had coffee and ate the others fries. Paid and left. The serving staff were ok.
The sauces and bottles they put down at our table was gross and dirty.
I think management has changed and it is second rate.
The only tasty thing was the classic lime milkshake.
Will not be returning.
The food was good milkshakes were good but the food took long we wait for an hour just to get food same as the drinks had to wait out side for 30 minutes and the lady at the front desk was also racist.
Well.they had probably about 40 birthdays in the span of two hours.which got annoying after the first 20 minutes
Their desserts are to die for! If you want a sugar rush this is a place for you
Wasn't so impressed with the food but my milkshake made up for it
Their food is so big and tasty they have everything. The staff is so so friendly and their drinks is to die for. When it is someone's birthday they do something special for adult and kids. Its the nr 1 place to go if you want to have a lovely family night out
The people are really friendly and open to conversation. The food is good. The milkshakes are impressive with their ice cream and doughnut toppings, however the milkshake itself is fairly plain. This plainness could be a saving grace as it makes the milkshake less sweet and balances the flavour of the toppings.
Serve good food and has great service. The place is just always busy but worth the wait for good food and one of a kind of milkshakes.
Very popular, so choose your times wisely to have a chance of getting a seat. Food was pretty good and the milkshakes are the star of the show. Will be returning soon.
I loved eating at Mustang Sally’s.
The waiters are really cool. I remember having a hard time to find the name of the candy floss and they were kind and patient and they helped me.
I ordered the burger that has 3 patties in it. I think it’s the biggest burger they have. It was worth it. Delicious food.
And the vibe is super cool. It’s full of kids. Definitely a place you should go to with your family or if you have a birthday go celebrate (they literally sing happy birthday every five minutes. It really doesn’t change the experience you’ll have from the restaurant).
Good food and atmosphere. HUGE servings.
The waiter (Paul) was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a compliment to the staff.
Luckily We booked our table in advance and did need to stand in a line.
We will visit again.
Food and service was fantastic! Only complaint was where we were seated had no fans, we asked for fans a few times from staff but didn't get, in the end we moved ourselves to the next table to cool down.
Homemade style burgers and good cocktails. The restaurant has an American theme and is definitely worth a visit. The milkshakes are a must try. Staff are always friendly and try to make you feel welcome. Would recommend trying if you're in the area.
Great decor, feels like you are in USA, had lots of fun with all different kinds of cocktails and shakes for kids
The vibe is really cool. Decorations and effort to make it authentic is really impressive.
Milkshake and cocktails were phenomenal and a 119% 5 star along.
Food we had was the rib and wings and corn dogs which were not bad but not amazing. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
If this place got a kiddies section it’d be hard to beat.
An experience not to be forgotten. The grandkids are on a sugar high. The food served in generous portions. The quality is not exactly gourmet but is filling and of course the milkshakes are the piece d'resistance. At least a one time visit for anyone in Pretoria. After that SUGAR COMA. Steve Biko Hospital is not too far
